Thanks guys, I'll get back to work now. Smile

EDIT: Ok, so I'm building a couple of cities, but the wierd part is that no houses will build and I got all electircity, plumbing, and all of the basic needs for a city. I'm not sure what's wrong.

I would suggest building up slowly, working up from poor and rural to the rich and CO$$$. If your region has a low population, you will not get the nice houses that you want.

Also, if you have a Maxis blocker you might not have enough custom R$ buildings to fulfill the demand. You won't start with R$$$ in a city, unless the region around it is wealthy. So take the blocker off until you have some solid growth going on.

Thanks for the help. Laugh

EDIT: Maxis blocker, (this is probably a stupid question) how do you find that? Cheeky/Razz

Type Maxis Blocker into the ST Exchange and it should pop up. Make sure to read the readme

There are more options than playing the normal way. Cheeky/Razz

1a. Demand mods would be helpful
1b. If that does not work, then you need more custom content

2a. Extra cheats by buggi is VERY USEFUL for making eye-candy cities
2b. You will need s**t loads of custom content to pull something like that off. I suggest using the lot editor to save time and memory.

3. Or just use both options to create a good looking city without being limited to demand

Do not worry about getting your city right the first time, it takes me ages to create one tile in a region. Cheeky/Razz Like Thomas said, take your time building your city, there is no rush.
