Ciudad Cortez
CIUDAD CORTEZ
This small city serves as the capital of Norte and a major centre for industry and mining. It is located near the Argentine border which also makes the city an important entry point. The city was founded during the Gold Rush in the 1800's by Spanish gold seeker, León Cortez.
The regional capital of Ciudad Cortez from above.
The small yet modern Ciudad Cortez Station offers train connections throughout the country and to neighbouring Argentina.
The Las Perlas Oil Refinery is one of the countries main sources of oil. The oil reaches neighbouring cities through the TransNacional Pipeline which stretches from Ciudad Cortez in the north all the way to Paraquéz in the south.
The small international airport.
The award winning Casa en la Colina (House on the Hill) was designed by the country's renowned architect, Miguel Alberto Santos (1956-Present). Santos also designed numerous other buildings around the country such as the Torre Libertad (Paraquéz) and the Universidad José Martez (Valperegas).
The Universidad de León Cortez is a small university that specializes in geography, natural resources, engineering, chemistry and industrial design. Despite its small size it is quickly becoming one of the country's most popular universities. Its main campus was also designed by Miguel Santos.
The Market District (Barrio Mercado) is one of the poorer areas of the city and houses low income miners and industrial workers. However, the neighborhood is popular among locals due to its large market, Mercado Central.
The Mercado Central
This large house in the center of the city was built by León Cortez shortly after he struck gold. However, many began to belive Cortez was becoming unusually paranoid when he build a castle wall around his house. Today, the house is home to a museum documenting the Gold Rush and the war that followed soon after.

Re: Ciudad Cortez
Pretty neat! I'm not a big fan of the maxis power plants being used as an oil refinery though, perhaps you should use the modular refinery set on the STEX, or SOMY's industrial landmark buildings, or a combination?
Overall, this is a good update nevertheless

Not bad! I like where it's going! But always recommended, you should download a terrain mod, it'll make extra special!

You can choose one, and pair it up with the Beach mod by marsh, All of them should match with your style CJ. And maybe grab a couple of tree mods by CP as well on the STEX or LEX. Hope this helps!

What great images you have! Your country is really coming along and you have lots of detail behind each image, which I like.
