Should AIN have a union bank?
If the union bank works similar to the real-life World Bank, then I think I agree. Otherwise, if it works like normal banks out there, then I think it is unneccessary.

Should there be a systematic way for union trades?
As there are tons of items available on the market to trade for, I'm not sure whether this idea is bad or good. We could try it out for a month or so as a test run, then we collect the feedbacks and work from there. A simple idea would be asking the members what item do they have for trading (both natural [e.g. wood, crude oil, etc.] and man-made [e.g. aircraft engines, printer, mobile phones, etc.]), then we look at who-wants what.

If we should have a bank, are we going to use the AINERO?
As the AINERO is the official currency of AIN, it is best to use the AINERO. However, it is also recommended that the rate for AINERO to USD is inserted for easy comparison as most people use the USD to compare with their own currency.

Where should the bank headquarters be?
Simple: Bidding.

Maybe.

As an analogue to the World Bank, yes. If it's just like a normal bank, then no.

I think trade agreements should be worked out between individual countries.

I think so, otherwise we'll get bogged down in exchange rates. Use either the US Dollar or Euro as an easy comparative rate.

Aran's idea is good. We could try for a month and then decide about it.

It isn't extremely important. Bidding will do the job.

The Head of Economy and Trades doesn't have so many things to do, so why not ?

I think a union bank that operates along the lines of the world bank is an excellent idea. Perhaps the bank could also be responsible for the AINERO (i.e. current exchange rates)

Developing on Aran's idea perhaps we could create a trade sub-forum where all nations wishing the participate could post a topic featuring wanted Imports and available Exports and then trade deals could be made withon that topic between the relevant nations.

Whilst Holidia itself will not adapt the AINERO as an offcial cuurency, we are happy to do trade with other nations using the common currency and as long as rates are updated as well as they are at the moment it shouldn't be a problem.

Bidding should be essential for this, it is probably the only fair way.

NAMES - (Quick brainstorm) - Central Trade Bank, International Bank of AIN, Union Bank of Free Trade. Though i am contented with anything relevant and simple.

Again the keep thing simple it is best for the Head of Economy and Trade to take position as president (or perhaps - chairman) of the bank.

I'm going to go with the consensus and say yes, provided that it functions similarly to the World Bank.

Should there be a systematic way for union trades?
I'm not opposed to nations offering unionwide trades, but for the most part, I'd say that trade should be between individual nations.

If we should have a bank, are we going to use the AINERO?
As in, are we all going to adopt the AINERO as our only currency? I'd rather not. Perhaps we could make it a secondary currency, used mainly by intra-union tourists and for trade.

It makes some sense to me, so I'll say yes.

I think we should. This way we can keep country budgets

Yes. Each country should have a bank balance and if they buy something. There money will go down. We can post our country Net Income per year. Which is money made after buying things and such

I think that the AINERO would be a great universal currency in the bank, and then we can also use individual currencies, but as for unionwide stuff in the bank, the main currency would be the AINERO.

Yes, I think this department suits the head of E&T, and plus, right now, there's not much to do for the current head of E&T

We can have a union bank that can act like the Federal Reserve or the Bank of England that can provide money fund such projects.

Yes, I have dozen of suggestions of such. There should be a committee from each particpating; active nation. The committee should consist of AIN Representatives that will vote on the use of funds.

AIN Bank should have some say on banks that cross international borders. For example: Bank of Hypertrophy in Hiigaran Confederacy or Petrova.

Nations that are going in a fiscal crisis will be required for a hearing for financial assistance to break free from bankruptcy.

Well yes, to standardized the use of funds. While Kingdom of Hypertrophy uses a different currency. It will honor the use of the AINERO, but there should be a conversion chart for the AINERO and the nation's currency.

I have thought of Hypertrophy, HK due to the fact it's a financial capital. But I am willing to bid.

No. There should be a committee of other representatives from other nations. For example Head of Treasury Dept from each nation to debate on the use of the Central Bank of the AIN's funds.

I think it would be useful both in RP and for actual trades. That way, we can have it as the mint for the AINERO, and it would provide a place to base our trades off of.

I think there should be a standard form/delivery system to make trades easier and more uniform union-wide

I agree that we should have a bidding session. Although we could build an AINERO mint/treasury branch in a major city of a member's choice, and the HQ title can be passed every __ months

This is a perfect idea, and a good way to keep track of all AINERO values and more. Should each country have their own or just one? Or maybe every country has a small branch of each and a vote to determine where the main offices and main bank will be held, overall, a great idea.
