What is the Highway Cross Cup
The Highway Cross Cup is a company funded event that brings racers from around the Island Union and across the world to race on many Highways, and other race courses. The Highway cross is a group of racing and supplementary events that keep racing off the street. Created in 2006.

What is the difference between a Grand Prix and the Highway Cross?
The Highway Cross has supplementary racing which include, Drifting and Drag racing. This was basically made to keep people from racing on the streets and hurting and causing themselves to be arrested. Along with that most racers are not trained like GP racers and are required to bring cars, not race cars like Grand Prix Cars, but any Name Brand Car, supped up to race.

How do I win?
Out of the 4 general matches their are some subsections, to qualify for the tournament, you must get 50,000 points in the qualifying rounds by completing some or all of the events. During the tournament their are section you will have to go up in

How do I get in?
First you have to older than 21+, then you must complete a test, have a clean/somewhat clean driving record(Like halting a stop sign for too long), has never street raced after 2000, sign the liability wavers during the event

Liability
There is always a risk in you getting hurt or dieing in any race, we try to make it the most extreme yet the safest environment for racing, but remember if you sign the contract, this states that the Island Union, Sponsors, or anyone else except yourself and your family are responsible, for damages and fatalities of yourself and others including you and your car

Events
Free Run is a basic race, except not always is like a race track, it contains many curves and straight lines.
---Time Attack: Is a race between people to who can get the best time in 3 laps
---Sprint: Is the Basic Race
---Point Attack: Is a race to get most points when you reach a checkpoint

Speed run are Straight courses with only one lap, they do have very minor but large turns
---Speed Race: Is a basic Race on speed
---Speed Counter: Is based on who can get the most consecutive MPH when reaching all the checkpoints

Drifting competitions are judged based on line, angle, speed, and show factor. Line involves taking the correct line, which is usually announced beforehand by judges. The show factor is based on multiple things, such as the amount of smoke, how close the car is to the wall, and the crowd's reaction. Angle is the angle of a car in a drift, speed is the speed entering a turn, the speed through a turn, and the speed exiting the turn; faster is better.

Drag racing is a competition in which vehicles compete to be the first to cross a set finish line, usually from a standing start

The Points system is based on what place you got and how well did you do the race
