wait.... shouldn't the nations of the AIN just submit someone for there nation?

yea....and no. I was thinking the same thing when I was doing Miss SimUniverse, but if people just sent random models and girls, then it would take me forever to find videos of them in swimsuits and evening gowns.

then why not make it a rule that it must be a real pageant member or you must put in a video of swimsuits and evening gowns in a submission

If you want a specific candidate to represent your country, they have to compete in any pageant, but THEY HAVE TO BE IN A SWIMSUIT AND EVENING GOWN COMPETITION. They can be from national competition of Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth or Miss International. Or the actual competition of Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth, or Miss International. And please, make sure its a youtube video

I'll choose Miss World 2008 Russia. I'm sure there's a video on YouTube.

you don't have to find a candidate from the link above. if you find a youtube vid on a national competition or past miss universe or earth then just give the link to the swimsuit and evening gown. or you guys can wait until the candidate choose list is revealed in a week or two and you can choose from there

Ok so here's the list of the countries that are in AIN and eligible to compete:

There are a total of 19 countries. Though I'm not sure if Portugal or Paltsacia or Uthwenia will participate. So that means that if only 16 countries will compete, then everyone will make it to the first cut(usually its only top 15, but in the case of 16 contestants everyone will be accepted to the first semifinalists).

The creator of the Diesmaran Empire Earth Dependency, Uthwenia, which is also a member of COFR by the nation of Diesmaran Empire, have told me that he will pull out from the membership of AIN due to real life activities. He also told me that he will join back into AIN at a later date.

Despite this, he is somewhat active on COFR. So, if you would like Uthwenia to participate in Miss AIN 2009, please inform me and I will contact him about this.

ouch. we really need to do something to engage our members to stay. and aran, please tell uthwenia that his non-membership in AIN will consequently result in him losing his country's eligibility to compete in the Miss AIN Pageant. (hence the "AIN". sorry to be rather harsh, but losing more members kinda ruined my day)

Actually, months ago (in April I think), when we are discussing about making inactive members not to be a member of AIN, I have posted shadow_prophet (the guy who created Uthwenia and Diesmaran Empire) reason for not being active. I have also posted that he said that he wanted leave AIN temporarily due to real life, but he said that he will join AIN back in the near future. Because of this, some of you guys agreed to allow shadow_prophet to quit AIN first.

So whats the final decision here? is he gone or not? i was wondering if i need to even put him in the AIN Games, but i did, cause i didnt know

well we've never heard from shadow again.... and I will be revealing the candidates sometime this week :cheers:
