Union Address | Smear Campaign

It has come to my attention that a smear campaign against the union as a whole, and me personally, by a former member. Recently a report was issued anonymously that was found by the Vice President. It claimed that our union was a cover for a child pornography file sharing site. This is absolutely disgusting and hopefully this public announcement will stop them from doing it again. To even stoop to the level of trying to get this harmless website closed down for any reason the person had, in that way, is just selfish and cruel. If anyone has any information on this matter, contact me by PM urgently so that we can establish how to stop somebody lying in this way again. I'm sure you all understand the severity of this matter.

Also, this afternoon I discovered that my Wiki page had been edited by a former member. Part of the wiki had been edited to tell readers that "I hate all Sim Sports leagues" and another union. It's a rude and very childish way of getting a message across, and the identity of the "wikia contributor" has been confirmed. I urge all members to keep an eye on any AIN-related documents that are held off-site, and to make sure that all of your data is stored on a hard drive as well as on the web, so that if any of your work is tampered with then you can restore it immediately. I would like to stress that I do not hate all Sim Sports leagues, we simply made the AIN sports area, an area for AIN sports.

Following this address, the entire AIN Wiki was hacked and a majority of the content removed and replaced by swastikas. I am currently working on bringing everything back. EDIT: It has all been fixed now, not as severe as I though.

I guess that's what you get for winning an election, right?

I am so sick and tired of this bullshit. I apologise for the language, but I know no other words to describe the situation.

I would like to now ask any COFR members reading this to log off and not log back on again. Ever. As far as I'm concerned, and I only speak for myself, if Nate Saathoff's underlings are prepared to sit back and let this kind of childish behaviour continue unchecked, then they are as bad as he is and none of them are welcome here.

Nate Saathoff only has one aim now - Destroy the AIN. Instead of putting this effort into building the COFR into something half way respectable, he has embarked on a campaign of cyber-terrorism against us.

He has been permanently banned from the AIN, and his numerous IP addresses have been blocked. So, he vandalises the wiki. He uploads offensive material and deletes pages that our members have worked very hard to create. Thankfully, Thomas was able to restore the wiki.

That's it - I'm over it. Nate Saathoff is nothing more than a bully and a cry baby who throws a tantrum like a 2 year old when he doesn't get his own way. When people stand up to him, he gets nasty. Anything from name calling and homophobic slurs to outright wanton destruction.

The only words I can use to describe someone like that all have 4 letters and are not suitable for this forum.

I've dealt with people like Nate my whole life. Enough is enough and I'm simply not prepared to hold my tongue anymore. Childish as that may seem.

I have narrowed it down to two suspects and gathered a dozen screenshots of strong evidence.
Several hours ago I informed the COFR's Secretariat of the matter and he made an announcement there concerning this matter. Consequently, the COFR Wiki was attacked (one hour ago) by the "UnitedStatesGov" account - that account attacked several pages of the AIN this morning, minutes after my two main suspects did the same to two pages. One of their IPs matched the one that defaced the Cattala wiki on Thursday.

Coincidental attack? I think not.

Although this move could be understood as the COFR not having good relations with AIN, we have absolutely no reason and no right to add fuel to the already heated flame. Just hours after that post that was quoted, the COFR wiki was "attacked" by one of the accounts used and subsequently, K50 has now told me that it obviously wasn't one of the COFR members, otherwise they wouldn't have defaced their own wiki.
Funny how that happens - an argument for their case is plucked out of thin air.

I call for getting together at the same conflict problems and inviting the COFR members to Nogovicka, where the HQ of AOIN is located. This problem is of the same cause. And well we need to find a person who did this.

I agree. Since it isn't a member from either union doing this, I think it would be a great opportunity for the COFR and AIN to help each other out. Make sure to keep us all posted.

Even if this was to show that what happened in COFR was untrought still he harmed the community. And we can fight together. We as a mature community and one of the greatest in Simcity history must not become closed. still AOIN has the opportunity. We are AOIN, we are open we are welcoming we are the strongest. So don't forget that, even some of our members forogt that.

I think the AIN should try to make relations with COFR, even with whatever happened, the AIN and COFR should both try to solve the conflict without any fights. That is the best answer in my opinion. We should both forget the before accusations. This is now, and we need to do what we can to have a peaceful future without any fights with any other problems appearing.
