MCG facing major territorial change

Melanesia Caroline Group (MCG) will be facing major territorial changes across the board. Ranging from land swaps to merger, to the creation of a new country, the landscape of MCG will change from today onwards. Whether due to demographic reasons or political, and maybe in preparation for a big event, territorial change will happen.

Background: Melanesia Caroline Group, located in the Oceania region northwest of Papua New Guinea, comprises of the Caroline Union and Fornax. The Caroline Union formerly consists of Cantova, Cenxena, Eauripik, Freecax, Lyra, Mussau, North Raffore, Prenca, South Raffore, Walter and Xena.

Enlargement and reshaping of Cantova and Eauripik

Cantova, Lyra and Walter merged into the Grand Republic of Cantova.
Cenxena, Eauripik and Mussau merged into the Eauripik Democratic Republic.
The former Cantovese province of Poltoka will join the Eauripian republic.

Land swaps of Prenca and Freecax, plus the creation of Ralitak

Freecax and Prenca swap their provinces of Yoln and Mynora respectively.
The former Prencian provinces of Ralitak, Ralik and Ratak separated from Prenca to form the Ralitak Republic.

Merger of Xena to Fornax

Fornax and Xena merged to form the Grand Republic of the United Fornax.

Reasons
Cantova: Merger of Cantova, Lyra and Walter, and the former Eauripian province of Poltoka

The countries of Cantova, Lyra and Walter all have a similiar goal in the governance of the respective countries. The ideas are the same, and going through a merger will strengthen our countries further and rise in the international scene. 82% of the people from the Poltoka province voted to join into our Republic, seeing that the province can develop further under the Cantovese guidiance. The rising military power from Fornax does not scare us as our military is more than in par with them since the merger.

In a bid to strengthen our military forces and build up our reputation in the world, our Republics merged together to become even stronger and mightier than ever before. Our presence in the world will be much bigger than before and we will defend ourselves from Fornax.

Freecax: Swapping the Mynora province with Yoln

We decided to leave Prenca as we can no longer expand our presence in the world due to new parliament changes. Seeing that we can expand our presence deeply under the administration of Freecax, we move over to Freecax not only to build ourselves further, but help Freecax to grow further.

Prenca: Swapping the Yoln province with Mynora

The people of the Mynora province, being the second most developed province of the country, decided that the military strength of Freecax is too weak to protect its infrastructure against Fornax. It then decided to join Prenca, in view of their stronger military strength. Yoln on the other hand, join Freecax to replace Mynora's reputation of the second most developed province of the country.

Ralitak: Separation from Prenca

With the recent change of the Prencian Constitution, we no longer feel safe under the hands of Prenca. Its scared responses to Fornaxian military strength made it focus on the mainland Prenca too much, providing extremely little defence to our country. Our country even felt that we should not treat Fornax as an enemy, but as a friend. After all, it lacks of real defence for 9 years.

With Xena finally joining our Republic, Fornax is now united. Xenian's military strength is not that much, but at least it provides significant protection for the time being. Our economies will regain its former glory, our differences will now be one. And now we are the largest country in the region in terms of size and population.
