Providence 2012

The Arcacian Simlympic Committee has announced that Providence will be bidding for the Simlympic Games in 2012. Deatils of the bid are being kept tightly under wraps, though the ASC has released the logo. The ASC says the bid will be unlike anything that has been seen before and will be huge.

Providence Olympic Park, Providence City Stadium, Providence Exhibition Centre and Lake Yorke have all been confirmed as venues, with others to be named at a later date. It is unclear at this stage how much of the Games will be held outside of Providence itself, though the ASC has hinted that at least 1 event is being planned for each district.

More details will be released as they come to hand, including the exact date of the Games. At this stage, it is unclear as to whether the Games are to be held in May, June, July or August of 2012.
