Matinenda's Departure from the AIN Empty Matinenda's Departure from the AIN

Post by Sirron kcuhc 24th June 2011, 19:56

Hello AIN members,

I made this thread to confirm my leaving of the AIN. I'm doing this because I've lost complete interest of Matinenda. Matinenda is too small of a country to role-play much with. Matinenda, just doesn't appeal to me anymore. I'm very sad to see this happen, but it's out of my power.

Some of you may have heard of Shayden from me talking about it in the Skype chat, which I have already been ejected out of. I've been talking to Chip and I do plan on entering Shayden into the USNW. There I can have more land, more chances to role-play. Some of you may wonder why I'm not making Shayden on Earth. That's because if I did then I'd be limited to how much land I can use. USNW lets me use as much as I want as long as it's smaller then a whole continent.

This is really hard for me so please don't think that I don't care about AIN. As long as it's okay with you guys, I still plan on being active on the AIN site. All of you guys are great and thanks for the good times. I'm hoping that I don't break any more friendships by doing this, but I already have with one person, which I was hoping the most that I wouldn't break. It's not you guys that made me leave it's just me. I'll let my land to just fade away, unless someone wants it, then just Skype me.

For the CJ of the month I'll give it to Karasem.

With that all being said and done, that's all I have to say. I'll miss you a lot AIN, and I'm very sorry this had to happen.

I don't really want to talk to you. Maybe in the future. I hope other members will be more friendly on this matter, but well i tried to explain what you can do. But you started blaming others. Sadly i don't want to talk to you.

Hope that you will be ok and that Shayden will work. And that you get more land.

I think I've said all I need to say in private. Matinenda will be closed down and dissolved tomorrow, once I've had time to think.

Hiigarar: I understand that you're made at me. I understand completely. I never meant to blame others and I'm very sorry if I did.
Forthwall: I understand. Bye.
Thomas: Alright. Do your thinking and decide what you want to do with it.

I understand why all of you don't want to talk to me and I'll leave you all alone.

Matinenda's Departure from the AIN Empty Re: Matinenda's Departure from the AIN

I'm very sorry to hear this.

But also very dissapointed to read in the skype chat from Chip that one of the main reasons you have left is that members were mean to you. i find that an extremely unsettling accusation, I don't think members were mean to you per say, I think that they treated you generally with respect but also that members have a very long memory and the problems associated with you and stanislav have stuck around to haunt you.

just my opinion. Sorry to see you go. But your country is small, So is mine and I haven't lost interest i still find plenty to do. Not everyone has to have large countries.
just feels like your selling out.

Actually, I never said that they were. I'm not sure how Chip got that, but I definitely have not stated or even thought that the AIN members were mean to me. I know that they were very nice to me, infact they were nice enough to deal with me while I was an immature kid, and I thank you guys for that, infact I would do anything to prove that I never said or thought that they were mean to me. Yes you can call it selling out, or whatever you wish, but I decided to do it.

I never said they were mean to him before he left, I meant after he left, which you can clearly see above, that's kind of cold.

Matinenda's Departure from the AIN Empty Re: Matinenda's Departure from the AIN

Post by Thomas 25th June 2011, 11:06

This issue of members leaving to the USNW is quite controversial and I'm sure will continue to be a problem that runs and runs. I've made my opinion on it quite clear, and won't be elaborating on it any further.

However I disagree that people are being mean to Sirron Kcuhc. A cold reception to any member leaving, without RL reasons, is to be expected and I think what you call "mean" should be looked at in a different light. People are shocked and saddened by Sirron Kcuhc's departure and are rightly disappointed. So it should be seen by Sirron Kcuhc as a sign of actually how much people respected and liked him here, and should be seen by the USNW as a major gain in your membership.

I know I'm not usually a member with an optimistic point of view, but if I was in the USNW, I would be really happy to have Sirron Kcuhc as a member and I wouldn't not be complaining about the way his exit has been taken by members here.

I'm not complaining about it, and now that you point it out, you do have a point but I really don't see why it has to be so cold. Anyway, I apologize for saying that, and I hope we can go on about our business as usual.

I'm not understand  why you don't create it in the middle of sea just like other members here. It should solve the number of land slot that you can use as that don't cover the whole ocean. Cheeky/Razz

good luck and bye. Sad
