What do you think of Battlefield 3?

Personally, I LOVED the open beta. The weapon physics, usage of teamwork, and destruction! Although I only played the PS3 version of the beta, it was awesome nevertheless.

MW3 FTW!!! but I guess Battlefield 3 is better for realism. but I will wait to see MW3 before making my opinion clear.

Haven't played Battlefield, honestly all I've played is mw2 and black ops once. I tend to stick with sports games (got FIFA 12 btw ) I'm planning on mw3 though

I find MW3 to be very similar to MW2 (not because of its game engine) because COD is released every year and feels the same each title.

However, reviewers are saying that MW3 is more balanced than MW2. I am interested, but like you, I am waiting for professional critics to review the game. Most likely the game will be a near perfect score because its intended for a arcade, casual gamer audience.

Unlike BF3, its intended for a realistic gameplay and that is the reason I love BF3.

Simply:

COD: MW3 = Larger sales due to being an arcade shooter and title
BF3: Better gameplay due to being a realistic shooter and Frostbite 2.0 engine

True, I still want to play the beta regardless if it was limited to one map. I did not get enough time to get the G36-C.
