Johnson Lake

Johnson Lake is a small town of about 15,000 people. The two major attractions of Johnson Lake are Aleksania University Johnson Lake and Johnson Lake National Park (see next post). The city is also known for its large inland port (Johnson Lake Inland Port) on Johnson Lake whitch is connected to the ocean by the Phillis Cannal (started in 1920, finished in 1923). Johnson Lake also has a seaport, although it is not used as much.

Johnson Lake National Park

Johnson Lake National Park (JLNP) is Aleksania's first national park, formed in 1946, around about 75% of Johnson Lake. In 1977, it was expanded all the way to the sea. The main features of JLNP are Mt. Johnson, Johnson Lake, the smaller Lake Phillis, the short Phillis River, and the Historical Phillis Cannal. Also, there is an other cannal, Johnson Cannal, (whitch was made by deepening the Phillis River) but was only barly started in 1929, when the Great Depresion hit, and the owner, William Mountinbacker lost all the money for the project, and was shortly after abandon. You can still see the remains.
