Lycanthia

The Republic of Aracacia would like to sponsor membership of the Lycanth Republic. Located off the coast of Australia, about 110Km South of Arcacia, Lycanthia will, as of 1 January 2010, become a protectorate of Arcacia under an amicable agreement following a referendum in Lycanthia. The agreement was signed in an extraordinary Round Table meeting in Providence last night. (So much for holidays.)

Lycanthia was an overseas territory of France until 1929 before it gained independence, but has fallen on hard times due to being hit hard by the recent global financial crisis.

Conditions of the agreement are as follows:
- Lycanthia will remain a sovereign State and retain its Constitution.
- Lycanthia will adopt the Arcacian Dollar as its currency.
- Lycanthian Citizens will be granted Arcacian passports.
- Arcacia will be responsible for foreign diplomacy on behalf of Lycanthia.
- Arcacia will absorb all debts owed by Lycanthia.
- Arcacia will be responsible for defence of Lycanthian territory. The Arcacian Coast Guard will patrol Lycanthia's coastline and the Arcacian Police Force will patrol inside Lycanthian territory.
