AIN Visa Waiver Program

This will be like the real would VWP. This program will allow AIN country citizens to travel to an other country without the need to obtain a visa if their stay is under 30 days.

Escambian citizens can already get into Lisieux without a Visa... but some countries may still require visas.

It is a great idea, but with the security issues in the Tirnreich, the Imperial Council wants as much documentation possible in order to maintain safety.

Too early to tell. Arcacia and Lycanthia have an open border policy towards each other (you don't even need a passport) and Visa waivers are in place with several countries, but there would need to be a considerable assurance from AIN member nations before we would sign this. Arcacia prefers to sign Visa waivers on an individual basis, not a whole raft of countries all at once. So, whilst it is entirely possible that some countries will be granted waivers, it is on a case by case basis and we would not sign up to something that essentially opened our borders to millions of people without adequate checks.

I like it. Lower Columbia will waive visa requirements for all other signatory nations.

While Kingdom of Hypertrophy and Hiigaran Confederacy both don't require any Visa to enter each other countries. Some countreis may. Perhaps, the Hypertrophy Parliament will have to think hard about it.

I'm not involving Borneo, Fornax and Lanna into this due to new changes. But for now, I'll focus on Rafforsia for the time being.

Rafforsia have a policy where all visitors or travellers to Rafforsia do not require a visa. However, if they plan to stay on Rafforsia for 90 days or longer, they are required to apply for visa.

Therefore, Rafforsia will have to think about this new proposal.

Off-topic: Just wondering, why is there a need to apply for visa in certain countries?

Aran - To prevent people from staying in the country and working there illegally (well, without a visa it is not technically illegal ) In the UK and Ireland all employers are required to have a photocopy of a foreign workers visa which enable them to work as there are random immigration checks on all workplaces known to employ immigrants.

Holidia already has a VWP for all ex-COFR nations that were in the COFR in September 2009 so that includes Rafforsia and will be happy to extend this to all memeber nations of the AIN - although a worker's permit will be required for people wishing to work for a period longer than 6 months.

We will allow this as we already ahve a open land border with the Republic of Ireland and sea border with the UK (although custom control still applies - along with quarantine of animals and no dirty agriculture etc.). Holidia is also still part of the Schengen Agreement despite leaving the EU in 2008 and still apply some, but not all of the laws.

Hiigara will be interested in this. But probably in only some states. We only don't demand visas to Hypertrophy and Holidia. And only one state of Everon (A Country in Hiigara) does not demand visas from all of AOIN Nations - Asmara State.
