Winter 2010 General Elections
General Elections of AIN
Campaign Period Begins: Friday, 5 February, 2010
Voting Opening: Saturday, 27 February, 2010
Voting Closing: Wednesday, 3 March, 2010
Running for Office and Campaigns
During the third major union summit, AIN will be having its third general elections. There is one new office: Head of Intelligence, the person who will be in charge of maintaining debate and voting polls. As the job duties are being discussed in the current summit, some departments may be removed, added or changed in terms of their job duties.
There are no requirements for running in a department, only that they are full members. However, those running for Vice President and President must commit to being active on a daily basis. We understand school and other commitments, but the President and Vice President must be active (sign in, reply to several posts) daily.
If for any reason the President cannot fulfill his or her duties, the current Vice President will take over. If for any reason the Vice President cannot fulfill his or her duties, one of the current admins will step in while a new Vice President is appointed. Administration rights may or may not apply to current President or Vice President.
At the moment, this thread will be locked. Discussion and nominations will take place during the summit, but the actual voting will take place in the House of Administration Forum. If you are thinking about running for an office, once this thread is opened on Friday, February 5, 2009, we ask that you write a small paragraph as to why you deserve your desired office, in short make a campaign post. Post your posters, campaign signs, promo speeches and such here once this thread opens.
