Post by Aranho 14th February 2010, 11:47

I will be doing a slightly different method than the real-life Expositions (e.g. Shianghai Expo 2010, etc.)

Instead of creating a unique pavallion for each AIN nations, I will try to fit in all 28 countries (also couting dependencies) into the built Expo Halls.

Here are the details of the Expo Halls available:

Building 1 (building on the stadium's right)
Exhibition Space 800NationalAtadium
7 Halls, 1 Foyer, 24 Private Rooms
7 Halls, 1 Foyer, 24 Private Rooms
Hall 121, 122, 131, 132, 141, 142, 151
Foyer 111
12 Private Rooms, 6 Private Rooms per level per Country
Maximum No. of Country: 10

Building 2 (building on the stadium's left)
Exhibition Space 800NationalAtadium
7 Halls, 1 Foyer, 24 Private Rooms
Hall 221, 222, 231, 232, 241, 242, 251
Foyer 211
12 Private Rooms, 6 Private Rooms per level per Country
Maximum No. of Country: 10

Left Wing
Exhibition Space 800LeftWingHalls
8 Halls, 4 Foyers
Hall L1A, L1B, L2A, L2B, L3A, L3B, L4A, L4B
Foyer A1, A2, B, D
Maximum No. of Country: 12

Right Wing
Exhibition Space 800LeftWingHalls
8 Halls, 4 Foyers
Hall R1A, R1B, R2A, R2B, R3A, R3B, R4A, R4B
Foyer A3, A4, C, E
Maximum No. of Country: 12

Maximum in Total: 44

As the number of Exhibition Space is limited, selection will be first-come-first-serve basis. As usual, the larger the Exhibition Space, the rental will be higher.

Selection is not ready yet. When the Selection phase begins, you will have to be quick.

Aran, a question about security on Fornax. The Queen, herself, is going to make an appearance at her first AIN function. But she needs to be assured that her security is top notch.

Here's how security will work during the Expo.

Security will be managed by three regional partners and one international partner:
Nat MSM (National Ministry of Security and Manpower)
NSSS GPD Sypo Metro (National Safety and Security Service Governmental Policing Division of Sypogen Metropolitan)
NSSS CPD Sypo Metro (National Safety and Security Service Communal Policing Division of Sypogen Metropolitan)
SSO CCC (Safety and Security Organization of the Caroline Community Confederacy)

Upon entering Expo Island
When entering Expo Island on either of the two roadways, an eTop Gantry (Electronic Toll Overhead Pass) will automatically deduct the toll fees from the In-Vehicle Unit (IV Unit) that are installed on all vehicles on Fornaxian roadways. At the same time, exclusive to Expo Island, the eTop Gantry will also scan for dangerous and suspicious items onboard the vehicles. If such goods are detected or suspected to be dangerous, the eTop will send the IV Unit Serial Number to all Underground Parking Centre (UPC) Security Point. If no IV Unit is detected on the vehicle (ie. IV Unit is illegally removed), the vehicle license plate number will instead be sent to all UPC Security Point. These vehicles will appear in the Marked Vehicles List (MVL).

At all 8 Expo Island Underground Parking Centre (UPC)
All vehicles that enter at any of the 8 UPCs must go through the Security Point as shown below.
Exhibition Space UPCSP
When the vehicles reach to the Security Point, they will have to stop behind the Movement Indicator (MoveIn) when its Red. This is to prevent traffic congestion in case of heavy traffic entering the UPC. When a lane is clear (Lane 8 in this case), the MoveIn will turn Green and the Lane Number will show on MoveIn directing you to the cleared lane. Once entering the lane, you will just have to collect a Vehicle Locator Card (Velo Card) from the Security Personnel and find the parking lot. Should the Lane appears faulty, the MoveIn lights will not blink and the Lane Number will be temporary erased from the system (e.g. Lane 2).

When the vehicle enters the Lane and either its IV Unit Serial Number or its Vehicle License Plate Number is registered into the system under the MVL, both entrance and exit of the lanes will be close and the vehicle will not be able to escape. The vehicle will immediately be wheel clamped by the On-Road Surface Wheel Clamping Machine (ORSWCM). The Closed Lane Number will also be temporary erased from the system. All other Lanes will operate as per normal. The Security Personnel stationed in the Security Booth will conduct a search for the IV Unit. If it's not placed on the correct position, the vehicle's driver will be handed over to the Police.

Should the IV Unit is present yet the Vehicle appeared on the MVL, the Security Personnel and a back-up will ask the driver and all passengers inside the Vehicle to proceed to the Security Booth to be detained. The UPC Security Team will be dispatched to the Closed Lane and will conduct a vehicle search. If no dangerous items are found, the vehicle's driver and its passenger will be able to enter the UPC. If dangerous items are found, the affected UPC will be evacuated and further actions will be taken by the On-Site Explosive Defusor Team.

Upon entering the Expo Venue by foot
At every entrances (both Public and Private) of the Expo Venues, Metal Detector Scanners (MDS) will be placed to conduct a search for any metallic items. All items carried will have to be placed onto the tray. Any personal computers such as laptops are to be taken out of the bag. Any belts worn must also be removed and placed on the tray. Shoes are not required to be removed. Should any dangerous items are found on the person or inside the bag itself, that person will be escorted to a Bag Check Holding Area and the Security Personnel will conduct a bag check. Any dangerous items found will be confiscated and will be placed inside a Plastic Container with a labelled tag on it. The Security Personnal will then hand over a Confiscated Items Collection Card (Cic Card) in which that person could reclaim it back from the Confiscated Items Collection Point located near the entrances nearest from the MDS where your item has been confiscated. Any items not reclaimed either within 72 hours from the time of Confiscation or 6 hours after the end of the Expo will be dispose.

Security Personnel on Patrol
During the Expo, the armed and armoured Expo Security will patrol the compound in groups of 3. More groups will be dispatched should any of the areas within the Expo gets crowded. Visitors are advised not to approach these Expo Security Groups for asistance. Instead, visitors should approach any of the Expo Informants for assistance. These Expo Informants will be wearing a Red and Orange Vest with the words "Sypogen Expo 2010" labelled onto the Vest.

Visitors of Important Status
Should any of the Visitor of Important Status (VIS) (such as Head of States, Monarchs, Presidents, Prime Ministers, Ministers, etc.) and its retinues happen to be present at the Expo, 1 armed and armoured bodyguard for every 3 people of the VIS and its retinues and 2 Groups of the Expo Security will be dispatched. However, any area that the VIS and its retinues may visit will not be closed to the public. Instead, the bodyguards will clear the path to create a gap of at least 1 metre to at most 3 metres around the VIS and its retinues, depending on the crowdness of the venues. Media crews, whether local or hired by the VIS, are strictly not allowed to take photographs or film the VIS and its retinues without the approval of the Head Media Organizer of the Sypogen Expo 2010 Committee. Any unauthorized photography or filming will have their equipment confiscated. Similarly, the public are not authorized to take photographs or film the VIS and its retinues.

Should there be any further questions or queries related to the Sypogen Expo, please do not hesitate to ask.
