Baden-stadt: Government District

Baden-stadt is a very important city. Not only is it Tirnreich's most populous city, but it's also its most dense, and has the highest residential and commercial populations. It is undoubtably Tirnreich's econonmic center.

Baden's Government District is located in the Northbanks Sector, just west of the East Residential Blocks. It houses City Hall, a Courthouse, a Stock Exchange Building, an Opera House, a central Library, a resort hotel, and 2 squares.

Focus on Schaed Square.

Schaed Square is sometimes referred to as North Baden Square, which is located to the lower right of Schaed Square. It features access to the City Hall, the Schaed S-Bahn Station, and to the Eastrise Condo center.


Focus on Baden Square.

Baden Square is a very active leg of the North-South throughfare that is Northbank Ave. Baden Square features an East and West Pedestrian walkway, a PedWay bridge that allows pedestrians to cross Northbank Ave. safer and faster. Baden Square also features a toll booth and access to the Government District, the Eastern Residential Blocks, and the northern Hotel Strip.

The BSZ was buildt in conjunction with the Gewaltig Kaas Oper. It borders both Schaed Square (North) and Baden Square. (East) The BSZ features some of Europe's most influential literature, including German poet Goethe and English author Edgar Allan Poe. Tirnlander literature and copies of historical documents are also featured.


Focus on the Kaiserlich Baden Kunsthaus. (Imperial Baden [stadt] Art-house)

The KBK houses various art functions throughout the year, most famously the Imperial Portrait Show, which features the portraits of all of the Imperial families over the century and a half of Tirnlander history.


Focus on the Gewaltig Kaas Oper. (Grand Kaas Opera [house])

The GKO was buildt in 1905, by Anwer Kaas, a Dutch nobleman who owned what is now the Southeast Quadrant of the Government Strip. Every year it hosts the Imperial Opera Festival, which has several troups from around the world perform once over a 2-month period.


Focus on the Baden-stadt Goebal Luxury Hotel.

Goebal Luxury Hotels operate luxury hotels in many cities in the Tirnreich, including Baden-stadt. Here, it is located on the westernmost edge of the lower Government District. It marks the beginning of the North Sector's East-West Hotel strip.


Focus on the Baden-stadt Stock Exchange.

The BSSE building is based on the design of Nachtsburg's stock exchange building. The BSSE houses the largest stock and bond trading system in the Tirnreich.


Focus on the Baden-stadt Metro Courthouse.

The BsMC is the central location for any and all court sessions in the metropolitan area of Baden-stadt. It features one main trial hall, four medium trial halls, and eight case rooms.


Focus on the Baden-stadt Rathaus. (City Hall) Baden-stadt's city hall was buildt during the WWI rebuilding, and was the base of anti-Nazi partisans during WWII.
