Day 16
Introduction
The Union Constitution is one of the most important document of AIN. Once finished, it will be evaluated and ratified by all the current union members. The constitution will serve as a guideline and rulebook for the union.
This discussion only pertains to the fourth and fifth articles of the AIN Constitution. Here are the current excerpts:
"Declaration of War/Conflicts - 4.0
- 4.1 - Both sides of the conflict must agree upon the conflict before any action takes place
- 4.2 - No God-Moding is allowed
- 4.2.1 - What is God Modding? Saying what happens to other peoples stuff
- 4.2.1.1 - Refer to God-Moding Rules in the House of Administration
- 4.2.2 - All deaths from an attack will be determined by the nation that was attacked
- 4.2.3 - All attacks must be agreed upon before they take place, along with deaths from the attacks
- 5.1 - The AINERO is the official currency of the Alliance of Independent Nations
- 5.2 - All Nations must accept the AINERO if a member of AIN
- 5.3 - The AINERO doesn't replace any national currency

I agree with this, but how often should we update? The Arcacian Dollar is on the gold standard, and the price of gold fluctuates. Perhaps every week would be enough.

Maybe the AINERO. What exactly is its purpose? Probably the easiest currency to standardize with is the US$.

I like this idea - we could have a weekly AINTV Broadcast with the exchange rates on it. Something like this:
Obviously you can jazz it up in Photoshop or something, but I think that could be a basic template or something to follow.

1. Do you agree with all of the above?
Nope
2. Should there be anything added/removed?
I am not in support of the AINERO and Holidia will not make it law for it to be accepted. All Holidian banking and government spending is done in the Holidian Punt. Although the government is happy to provide a conversion when consulting with other nations of the AIN over union matters.
The addition of the AINERO into the constitution is unnessary and I think I should become 'an independent organ or be regulated by an appropriate organ. Making the implentmentation of the common currency part of constitutuion means the constitution is not future-proof and Holidia is not prepared to sign/agree to an consititution that they will not obey - this may force us to leave the union.
If it is essential for the currency to become a constitiutional element of the nion, then may I suggest that this could alternatively be replaced with:
I re-wording is needed (see above)

AINERO Currency - 5.0
* 5.1 - The AINERO is the sole recognised currency of the Alliance of Independent Nations
* 5.2 - All Nations must recognise the AINERO as a legit currency and provide appropriate and fair conversion rates based on the AINERO's position compared to [the USD or the Euro]
* 5.3 - The AINERO is not intended to replace any national currency and may be used dually along with an existing currency.
*5.4 - All members must use the currency or provide a bracketed conversion when talking about bidget issues during roleplay (i.e. cost of projects, amount of aid etc.)
I re-wording is needed (see above)
