Tirnreich Bid for 1st AIN World Football Classic

THE BID

For my AIN World Football Classic bid, I created a brand new city, Sudfeld. Besides possibly hosting the 1st AWFC, it may be home to the Summber Simlympics, several American-Football teams, junior sports clubs, as well as related championship tournements.

1:Sudfeld Imperial Stadium- MAIN STADIUM, CHAMPIONSHIP STADIUM: Will house openning ceremony, Champioship Game, and closing ceremony. Parking in nearbye Hekli, and just south at the Tennis Complex. Also available: Bus/El Train.
2: Farbe Park- Main Stadium, Semi-Finals Stadium: Soccer/track stadium, will be converted to Football use. Will house Semi-Final game(s). Parking underground, and above in Parking Garages. Also available: Bus.
3: Zentral Distrikt- Neighborhood: The ZD is a residential zone. Most of the current inhabitants of the city live in this crammed sector, only because of the current zoning restrictions; Sudfeld is meant to be a major sporting centre, but will eventually house more people.
4: Grand Weiss Hotel- The GWH will house all of the football teams, their coaches and other staff, as well as any external media members. Aside from those patrons, the hotel will have nearly 5,000 empty rooms.
5: Sud Distrikt- Neighborhood: The SD is the southern residential zone. This houses many people, but only in the upper floors of the distrikt's wall-to-wall buildings. The lower floors are used by businesses, not counting the Paulden, Inc. offices. (large building, near "5") This district is well renowned for the shopping, with some shops piled on top of each other, very reminiscent of big cities such as New York or Chicago.
6: Sudfeld Speedway- The Sudfeld Speedway is a stock car racing track. It features year-round races and lots of parking. It can provide entertainment for game patrons between games.
7: Rotfeld Stadium- Main Stadium: Rotfeld Stadium is a smaller football stadium, but should be sufficient enough for the games being played there. It is located in the centermost point in the city, giving it great placement for transportation, such as the El train, buses, or cars, and allows for easy transportation by foot to other stadiums. Transportation: Bus, El train, Parking at Speedway.
8: King Ludwig Memorial Field- Training/Practice Field: The King Ludwig Memorial Field will be used as a practice field for a maximum of 2 non-playing teams at a time. Parking: Side lots
9: Sudfeld Multimedia Center- The SMC is a broadcasting centre for Tirnreich News Channel, among other networks. For the AWFC, the SMC will be used to house newspaper, TV, radio, and internet blogging correspondants, while offices will be available for on-location reporters and crews. Parking: Parking garages on East side (obstructed by SMC) and West side. (small red building in blocking SMC) Also available: El train, bus.
10: Ogden Park- Main Stadium: Ogden Park is a football stadium recenlty buildt for the AWFC. It is situated just East of the EuroSport Building. When not in use, it will be a secondary practice field. Transportation: El train, bus, Parking in side lots.
11: Lisieux Stadium- Main Stadium: Lisieux Stadium is a soccer stadium dedicated to the island country that recently sold land to the Tirnreich. It will also be converted to a football field for the Football Classic. Transportation: El train, bus, Parking in side lots.
12: Nordmarkt Triangle- Neighborhood: The Nordmarkt Triangle, also known as Nordmarkt, or the Triangle, is a small district that has some row homes, the Marktplatz Restaraunt, several businesses (such as the Tirn Bank) in the Neufeld Tower, and the Altkasino Building. It is renown for its coffeehouses and the small clocktower on its Western tip. It will be useful for providing entertainment at the casino, some international cuisine, an area to exchange monies, and a relaxation area.
13: Niaro Park Station- This is the first El-train station that many visitors will encounter in Sudfeld. From this station, one can travel easily by foot to the Tennis Complex, the Sudfeld Imperial Stadium, the Nordmarkt, and especially the scenic, albeit small, Niaro Park, just East (above) the station. The El Train network runs down Sudfeld Avenue, and branches off near the Sud Distrikt, circles around near the speedway, and "hops" onto the Oststrasse, (East Street) then branching off to the Oststadion (East Stadiums) Station, and again to branch into the east-bordering city. It "hops" back on Oststrasse, and finaly wraps back around to join the main branch.
14: Simlympic Tennis Complex- The STC is a 3-piece Tennis complex, used by both national tennis players, and the international circuits. There are 2 small tennis stadiums, which are used for qualifying matches, amateur and pro tournement play, and for practice. The larger stadium is used for highly anticipated matches, as well as for championship matches.
