New tile, transportation, seaport project
I've started to work on a new city tile.
It's called Port Franc. In German, that means Port of France. Port Franc is (will be) a somewhat industrious and dirty port city. Although the port only occupies a crammed aquatic enclave, it's vital to Tirnlander trade since Nachtsburg's port isn't finished yet. It is also the "French Sector" of the Tirnreich. Almost 80% of all French-descendant peoples live in Port Franc.
This is the portgrounds. (waters?) I'm only placeholding until later when I actually develop the rest of the city. I've smoothed out some of the outlining area to later include industrial and Port functioning buildings.

This is a new Transportation project I'm working on. It's essentially a cheap SC4 version of roads such as Whacker and Lower Whacker Dr. in Chicago. (seen in both Batman movies, 2000's) But it also resembles some European cities, with express lanes in the middle, and parking or branching streets on the side.

A close up of the actual interchange. I may try reversing the tunnels, so they would face the Avenue, but keep the OWR's on the outside. This would basically have the avenues underground, just like Lower Whacker.

Thoughts and comments welcome.

I like the idea of express collector roads. I tried making Bus Rapid Transit using Flexible Underpasses once.

HI
This is really excellent project.A good place to start is to read Tomorrow’s Transportation - big box (MASS TRANSIT) is not a good answer. Most of the really bad problems are within urban regions, not between them.

This is great but, can't you use the NAM piece for the underground road, because the big dig looks a little weird, no offense
