Canada beats Russia for first time in 50 years! Empty Canada beats Russia for first time in 50 years!

For the first time since Squaw Valley in 1960, Canada has defeated Russia in Olympic ice hockey competition to secure a place in the semi-finals. The final score was 7-3. The streets of Vancouver were empty during the game, but the celebration is expected to go all night after the Canadians sent the Russians home empty handed.
