Christine Bleakley

Christine Bleakley is a Holidian TV Presenter. She presents shows such as BBC One's The One Show and WaveTV’s Holidia AM. Described as ‘the lady Holidia wakes up to’ she is one of the most influential and famous local celebrities and because she co-hosts a British Primetime show is also famous in the UK.

Born in 1979 in Newry, Christine started her career as a runner for BBC Northern Ireland before moving to be a radio news presenter for Citybeat in Belfast, after independence she was offered a job working for the newly formed WaveTV, after working on various different shows on WaveTV she was offered a contract on the BBC’s One Show.

Christine will be immersing herself in the culture of nations she visits, getting down and dirty with the local food and customs and talking to the local people. She will also be staying with local people and using public transport for the duration of the trip.

The other two presenters are yet unconfirmed but will be announced later today...
