Alliance Ferry Administration

I propose that the AIN set up an international Ferry network to link together the Union's cities that border water. I'm not totally sure if this has been set forth before, but I think it would be very useful, as a social and tourism boost, as well as transportation for immigrants, businesses, and sporting events, such as the upcoming Tour d'AIN.

Blakeway and I were discussing a ferry company a few days back. If this is made, can private companies remain private and join the AFA?

I agree - Ollingdale relies heavily on ferries, and would happily link together union cities that border.
Could we have a High-Speed Ferry service, so it rivals aviation and HSR connections? It's not overly realistic, but it could link nations together well.

Okay, just digging through the transportation forums, and I discovered this long lost thread. Considering the Tirnreich now has Pacific territory, my country has significantly greater capacity for naval operations.

So I hope that we can develop this initiative further

its between germany, austria, and poland i believe. but its navel areas by Escambia (I think?)

Close, it's on the tri-axis of Germany, Poland, and Czech Republic.

Tirnreich would be glad to operate ferries through the river system, in which the Tirn River connects to the Elbe, taking it out to the North Sea via Germany.

This, in addition to operating ports on the Tirnisle.
