Ollingdale and Holidia sign historical Oil agreement
This evening, the leaders of Ollingdale and Holidia have signed an $84m oil trade deal that will include a pipeline extension from London's Thames Estuary to Surrey Island in the UIO. The pipeline will provide 20m litres of Brent Crude a month to Holidia.
Ollingdale's Prime Minister visited London recently to sign a deal that will mean the former dependency pays an annual fee of £30m to use the British pipe network to bypass Russian and Norwegian networks in the North Sea. The oil will travel from newly-installed pipelines in the Thames Estuary into London, and then up to Scotland and across the North Channel to Belfast.
A price of just $56 a barrel has been arranged between the allies, meaning Ollingdale may be pushed by other importers to reduce prices for them as well.
Thomas Simpson hailed the deal as "historic and a sign of the Alliance's benefits to the people of Ollingdale and Holidia", from his home in Woking.
Holidia's acting First Minister Arlene Foster said that it will "provide our country with a stronger economy and will attract investment".
Already Holidian Petroleum prices have fallen by 23%, and the price of petrol at garages has dropped below £1 for the first time in 2 years.

Any nation that is a friend of Holidia is a friend to Hypertrophy. Glad to see 2 eastern hemispheric nations work out a deal.
