Day 5 SummitLogo-2

In every league, in every city, in every country and across borders, there are teams that compete against each other in a fierce and timeless competition for bragging rights. Whether born of historical conflict on a deeper level, or whether they are otherwise good natured neighbours, sporting rivalries make a game more than just another fixture on the calendar. They produce some of the most electric plays, the most gripping finishes and the most sizzling finals.

What rivalries exist in your countries leagues? Does your country have any rivalries with other countries that are played out on the sporting field?
Please provide details as to how these rivalries came about and why they persist to this day.

Ollingdale and Woking have a big rivalry against each other, as they are the biggest cities and the biggest teams.

We have a big rivalry with Britain in tennis and cricket, and are big rivals with Holidia in most sports. Cheeky/Razz

There is a famous old rivality between Prodisiac and Makadewa in every sports.
As the République of Lydosia is the neighbor of Illu'a and Lower Columbia, they're both Lydosia's rivals! (If they agree)

Although, Kingdom of Hypertrophy has some rivalries within its own, it does have rivalry with its neighboring countries like Acadylea. Both nations are great friends politically and such, but when it comes to sports. We are strong rivals.
