That is your choice, Aran. Actually it makes it like real life. There are some places in the world where this sort of thing would result in the death of the performers. Drag Queens, Transvestites, and Transsexuals around the world face heavy persecution. Participating in this pageant is a celebration of the freedoms and liberties that should be allotted to any human being.

Escambia and Ceará Islands will not participate. Such an event participated would cause a huge uproar here due to high belief in Christianity

Whilst Holidia does have transvestites and transsexuals it is really very much a social taboo, however it is not illegal and there are a few smaller events similar to this pageant.

In both societies, homosexuality and transgenderism is accepted as a normal variant of the human experience and the only taboo surrounding it is homophobia. Generally, Arcacians view homophobes as being repressed closet dwellers who need a good, stiff...

The decision to allow LGBT civil partnerships was allowed in 2008, but adoption is illegal. Homophobia is illegal, and the minimum sentence for this is 6 months in prison.

Aw hell, I'm a straight man. I have spun in the clubs ranging from straight, gay, drag shows, and male/female strip clubs. This does not even offend me at all. I'll participate.

Erika has decided to join the pageant, because after all this is where she begun her rise to stardom. Every year since 2001, she has hosted the Hypertrophy Pride Week on 29th Street across from Market Sq. And she is originally from Hypertrophy, where 1 out of 3 citizens are either gay, bisexual, or transgendered.

Thanks for your participation! You picked a good one, too! I do wish more of the guys would participate. I don't want to preach on it, but this is what gay people go through everyday. I, personally, don't think any of the guys are homophobic; however just like in society, a lot of heteros are "tolerant" as in... that goes on over there, but not over here. My goal here is to shed some light on a very popular and very entertaining facet of the Gay community, which I am very proud of.

I never intended this to become a political issue and I'm going to abstain from getting up on a soapbox and give my real thoughts and opinions. But I am going to ask again for everyone to participate. It's gonna be fun!
