There has been a massive pile-up of 75 cars on the southbound Jastonious Parkway. Much of it was due to dense fog, and slick; wet roads. There has been several casualties reported. Emergency crew are assessing the situation right now, as firefighters are fanning the flames.

UPDATE

The pile-up has caused the Jastonious Parkway to be shut down for the entire Thursday. A total of 60 were injured and 23 deaths were reported. Among the dead is Empress Elina's husband Sir Donovan Vogle. He was killed from the pile-up.

Citizens of the Hypertrophy Kingdom is in mourning. Empress Elina at this time refuse to speak with the press, for she asks for a moment of privacy until tomorrow.

Sir Donovan was a devoted husband and a great heart in philantropy. He was also a father to be in the next month.

(However Sir Donovan Vogle got mixed up in rush hour traffic, I don't know)

President Edward Pitt mourns the loss of Sir Donovan Vogle. As soon as the Atrubian presidential inauguration is over, he will be taking a direct flight to Hypertrophy.

The Tirnreich sends its condolences to the country, to the Royal Family, and to the families of those injured or killed in the accident.

The United Islands of Ollingdale sends its upmost sympathies to the Hypertrophy Kingdom and it's people.

At: 5:16 AM Pacific Standard Time. There has been an earthquake reported in the City of Hypertrophy. So far some damages have been reported in the Morrigan District and the Sagittarius Park District. The USGS (United States Geological Survey) has recorded the earthquake a 6.7; which is considered a moderate-to-strong earthquake. There has been reports of fires around the city. The quake's epicenter was located 42 miles Northeast of the capital; the San Pinedo Faultline. More details in a few...

Hiigaran Confederacy if needed will help whit everything needed to the Hypertrophy. Hiigaran Special Forces are ready to go to help whit resque missions.

Thank you to Hiigaran Confederacy and the Republic of Corraille; however, we don't need military personnel. But we could use volunteers from other nations in regards to search and rescue and medical services.

Fire blaze in the Morrigan District

5:35 AM PST - A widespread fire in the Morrigan District is being fought, as firefighters are preventing the spread of fire from reaching Serena Hts and Mansion Hills. Meanwhile in the Cibola Industrial District, firefighers are battling a 5-alarm blaze. A magnesium factory goes up n smoke and firefighters are having a difficult time putting out the fire, because of magnesium's reaction to water.

6:00 AM PST - Mayor Jim Penrod goes live to address the citizens that the city is in the state of emergency and he advises the safety measures. The press conference is held at the Pembroke Mansion, just one mile west of the Morrigan District.

6:03 AM PST - While the Mayore was giving a live press coverage, an aftershock occured. The aftershock registers a 5.0, and caused a panic as the press and other citizens began to panic.

6:15 AM PST - Reports went on about the Dock Street Bridge collpsed into the Cibola River, one person is reported dead as the driver tried to pass through the bridge during the aftershock, which caused the bridge to collapse along with the driver.


A home in the Sagittarius Park District is under flames

6:45 AM PST - Hypertrophy's O.E.M reports dozens of homes and apartment buildings on fire in the Morrigan, Sagittarius Park, Little Hiigara, and Cibola Districts More than 1/3 of the city's firefighters are battling the blaze.

7:00 AM PST - Empress Elina addresses the nation on SNC and urges the citizens to remain calm.


A passenger ferry sinks from the earthquake in Little Hiigara

7:10 AM PST - O.E.M (Operations of Emergency Management) dispatch the HYPD's Harbor Unit to rescue passengers on a collapse ferry in Little Hiigara. Reports of 15 people were injured when the quake, caused the ferry boat to tip over and sink when it struck a pillar.

7:30 AM PST - Several shots of the city

So far we have a report as of 11AM PST -

- More than 400 homes are destroyed; much from the fire that was caused from a ruptered gas line.
- 60 are reported dead so far
- 2300 people are injured
- Subway lines are suspended until further notice
- City is still without out power until further notice; however, parts of the city are lit through back-up generators.
- Dozens of triage centers are established to help the wounded and the burned.
- The Dock Street Bridge has collapsed as a result of the quake.
- Firefighters are receiving help from neighboring cities of Wyndham and Devonaugh to battle the blaze.
- Empress Elina has extended thanks to Hiigaran Confederacyand Republic of Corraille to help in rescue efforts.
