The Republic of Jumaane is a Southern African country. Like several poverished African countries, Jumaane is no exception. Therefore, the Help the Poverty Project (HTP) have decided that Jumaane should receive help first.

Information
The Democratic Republic country have a population of 12.36 million (exact: 12,362,121) people, with a GDP per capita of :AINERO: 1,267 (USD 3,801). Before the ten years of political peace Jumaane is experiencing, Jumaane is plagued by numerous attempted coup d'etat, with one successful attempt.

28.4% of the people are unemployed. 67% of the population survive with less than :AINERO: 3.33 (USD 10) per day. As a result, 25% of the population is malnourished due to insufficient money to purchase the basic food.

With a household of 3 million (exact: 3/090/780), an average of 3.99 people are living in each household. However, 52% of the households are built without proper construction methods, providing a dangerous condition for people to live in. 71% of the households receive daily supply of power. Daily water supply fair betterm with 89% of the households having that privilege. 74% of the households recevice proper sanitation.

In mountaineous areas of Jumaane, power outages are common due to difficulty in supply power to those areas. Power outages could last as long as a few days. Otherwise, there are no power shortages. 11% of the population does not have access to clean water.

Periodic droughts and occasional flooding affects the country. 300,000 are affected by droughts when it occurs, while 100,000 are affected by floodings.

People with monthly wages (in AINERO/USD)...
...below 10/30: 35%
...between 11-100/31-300: 32%
...between 101-500/301-1500: 24%
...between 501-1000/1501-3000: 6%
...above 1000/3000: 3%

For more information about Jumaane, please go to this website.

In order to provide the most help to the people of Jumaane, HTP would like to know the following:

According to the census, Jumaane produce 170.3 billion kWh of electricity, import 7.57 billion kWh of electricity, consume 145.1 billion kWh of electricity and export 10.16 billion kWh of electricity. 1c) What is the reason for not supplying the above-mentioned region(s) daily supply of electricity?

1e) How many and what type of power-producing facilities (e.g. power plant, hydroelectric dam) does Jumaane have?
1f) How old are these power-producing plants?
1g) How common is load shedding begin practiced?
1h) How many people are affected by load shedding?

1a) Which region(s) of Jumaane doesn't have a daily supply of

1b) Who or what type of people stay in the
above-mentioned region(s)? east (natives and herders) western highlands (normal everyday citizens)
1c) What is the reason for not supplying
the above-mentioned region(s) daily supply of electricity? Lack of funds to provide power into the mountains and out east
1d) Any
governmental plans to provide these region(s) daily supply of
electricity? The government would absolutely love to provide electricity to these locations but the infrastructure and funds just aren't there.

(e.g. power plant, hydroelectric dam) does Jumaane have? Jumaane uses power plants but has started a program to try to switch to geothermal, wind, and hydro-power.
1f) How old
are these power-producing plants? plants are old, other sources are new
1g) How common is load shedding
begin practiced? load shedding is starting to become more and more uncommon
1h) How many people are affected by load shedding? not as many as before
1i)
Any governmental plans to improve the current power-producing
facilities? Yes, if funds become available we would like to build new clean energy plants

According to the Poverty Information, 11% of the
population does not receive a daily supply of clean water.
2a) Which
region(s) of Jumaane doesn't have a daily supply of clean water? lesser populated areas of the country that only have access to river water

It's alright Tyler. I'll properly look through the form above when I have the time. But, when I skim through, power, water and jobs are the most areas Jumaane needs.
