Introduction:
From the first time its founded, AIN has been grown to be an union with members from all over the world. But currently AIN need more Asian and African members.

1. We don't have much of a choice on what region people decide to recreate. However, I have an idea on how to convince more people to locate themselves in Africa/Asia.

4. I say that we slow down on accepting large islands in the middle of the ocean. Most people don't look at tectonic plates or things like that when making these large islands. When it's close to a continent, you can classify that by the continent rather than "Pacific" or "Atlantic." This could possible mean more members deciding to make their countries on or near Africa/Asia.
5. It's pretty active right now. We just have to watch out for events going inactive.

1. There's no way we can control where nations are based. People will base their nations in regions close to home, where they have a cultural connection, or have an interest in.

2. Unless members from Africa or Asia join and have nations based there, there's nothing we can do.

3. As I say, there's not a lot we can do. It's up to individual prospective members.

4. Perhaps encouraging people to be realistic about where they have their countries, taking into account tectonic plates, ocean currents etc.

5. I think the level of activity is very strong. There will always be lulls, but there will always be periods of high activity also.

I think that people choose the localization of their SC4 countries near the Realife home country and how we have the majority of North Hemisfere members we have less countries in Africa or Asia. It is so much harder to "build" a decent African Country then build one in United States region, per example.

We don't have possibilities to advertise AIN in Africa or Asia, there is nothing we can do.

3. Do you have any suggestion about this?

No, there is nothing we can do but I think that are more AIN countries with dependencies in/near Africa like the dependency of Fairview: Fairview Islands that is located in front of Angola, near the coast.

4. Do you think the current application criteria is suitable? If no, why?

I think it is suitable because we should have lots of realism and etc. when we do our application so we should have a "Excelence of Realism" and only with that we can "copy" countries and cultures of RealLife.

5. How do we keep our union active?

Well... I think that events are very important because they increase the activity of AIN. We are very active in this moment so there is no problem of activity right now!

Pray. We can't decide for them, it's always personnal choice, but as I said before, ERC is in South East Asia, so that mean it's not in Oceania...

Nope.

Yup. But we aren't too strict. I'll explain this to the meeting.

Keep what we're doing right now since it's very active! Well when the sports seasons will start, I guess it'll be awesome! Tennis start today!

It is their choice where to put their CJs in.

I think people don't create Asian CJs because no.1, there are a lack of Asian BATs and no.2, most SC4 players are from the US/EU.

None, except create more BATs.

As Blakeway said, we're not too strict. I don't see why it should.

Role-playing should be increased. Keeps people coming back and posting more.

I definitely think that we need less European/American/Oceanic countries and focus on getting/promoting African/Asian nations.

We can promote them to AIN and suggest existing members who are thinking of making a dependency have one based in Africa/Asia.

I think so. But I think that we need to focus less on quantity now and more on quality. Maybe have more stricter guidelines?

I think this union is already active with events going on every month, so I don't think this is a problem.

We should not force the people to change their location. We just have to go by luck.

I have no idea honestly. Perhaps seeking more African/Asian CJs?

I'm thinking of redistributing the regions to these (look at map for easier description:
Asia (Asia, Middle East and Indian Ocean)
Europe
Africa and Atlantic (Africa and Atlantic Ocean)
America (North America, South America and the Carribean)
Pacific (Pacific Ocean, Escambie/Roanoke Island Group, Oceania and Australia)

Erm, just comment on any topic? More role-playing?

Regarding about the issue on having big islands in the middle of the ocean, I can help to check if the islands are geographically aligned to real-life geographical features such as tectonic plate boundaries, submarine mountains and trenches. I'll use both Google Earth and Wikipedia, along with other sources, to help check out the geogpraphy of the region.

Frankly I dont know

It is going active as we speak, I don't believe anything will change that drastically that its not active

We can't force people to change their world location, but it's true we need more African and Asian nations.

Maybe we can invite people from Simtropolis, SC4 Devotion and SimSports who have African or Asian nations to join us. Try some advertising.

It's good enough to me.

It's all about posting. More events and CJ updates. Role playing too. But we're active enough at this point.

If people want a country in America, Europe or Australasia, then fine by them. We can't force people.

Emphasis on CJs, quality CJs. That will keep people interested.

Aran with your new regions the pacific is still loaded, and that's the most congested area.

Hmm. True. Perhaps dividing the Pacific region into two parts: North Pacific (Escambia/Roanoke Island, Hawaii) and South Pacific (Australia, Melanesia, Polynesia, Micronesia).

But then North Pacific would only have two countries.

hmm, there's Starfish Island, Hispania and I think Ascadylea and Bob.

No Bob, is closer to Aleksania. I should know.

There's also Hypertrophy, as the AIN map shows.

Correct. Id consider Illu'a North Pacific. But the Escambia region includes. Escambia, Roanoke Island, and Ceará Islands

1. What do you think about this?
Well, it's kinda a null argument. Really, there's not much we can do, besides invite people with Asian/African CJs, which quality CJs taking place in those regions are hard to come by.

Scout. SC4Devotion and Simtropolis are obvious choices, but maybe we should consider looking at Asian or *gulp* French sites for different CJ styles.

Yes, it's suitable IMO
5. How do we keep our union active
By doing what we're doing. I've been here for about 9 months, and these past few months have seen the most applicants and full members. So sporting events, summits, and member activities are the right track.

I think we should just try and keep out eyes open for quality nations in these areas that could benefit the AIN

Maybe more publicity and inviting other members. Maybe an alliance forum on ST or something?

Yes, I feel it is very thorough

1. What do you think about this?
There is no control, when CJ's are created it is based on a nation or culture the person can identify best.
2. How do we add more Asian and African in your opinion?
The only best way to invite them is promote this idea. But generally we should accept anyone who is willing to join and abide by the contract of the AIN.

It's kind of the same as question 2 (LOL)

The criteria is fine with me. I'm not complaining.
5. How do we keep our union active?
Getting creative, that is the #1 way of keeping this union active. Plus, we maintain the principals that we have been since 2009. These are lessons I learned from the former COFR. In the COFR we threw away the principals and we fell apart, because we were trying to be like another union. And differences were being made.
