Youth Week 2010

The Arcacian and Lycanthian governments present Youth Week. August 1-7, 2010.

Youth Week is a government initiative that aims to raise awareness of issues affecting Arcacian and Lycanthian youth today, with several workshops and street events designed around themes including:
- Education
- Career Paths
- Recreation
- Drugs & Alcohol
- Bullying
- Self-Esteem
- Sex & Relationships
- Family
- Sport

Throughout the week, Arcacians and Lycanthians aged 12-25 are encouraged to take part in activities nationwide, culminating in the Youth Festival in Capitol Square, Providence on Saturday, 7 August. The festival includes performances by musicians, comedians and dancers, the annual Battle of the Bands, food and drink and rides, like the vertical bungee called "The Screamer" and even a giant jumping castle and inflatable obstacle course. In Lycanthia, the Youth Festival will be held at the Place-de-Lycanth in Anglet.

Entry to all events is free.
