I think it's okay. Plus, this proposal won't change existing islands in the middle of the ocean.

I don't see anything wrong with appropriating land from RL nations, as long as it doesn't involve taking over world-renowned major cities (though I'd allow it if their names and/or histories were changed to something custom). Creating islands in the middle of oceans from scratch is really less realistic than doing this, simply because those islands don't really exist and might conflict with things like plate tectonics (e.g. an island with only rolling hills or plains sitting over a plate boundary) or ocean currents (hint: don't block the Gulf Stream). These problems are completely avoided by locating one's nation on RL continents.

I want to change one more thing.

The prequisite "The Network Addon Mod (NAM)" should be changed to "Visible use of the Network Addon Mod (NAM)."

Yeah, I agree with you Zach, yours is ok. But like Amerindia's application and taking the whole Alaska... or example, if you create a nation over the Boston-DC area... That's not acceptable IMO.

I'm good with taking over parts of RL countries but in my opinion Amerindia took too much.. He took Juneau and Vancouver. Taking all of Alaska really hurts America because we get lots of natural resources from there. All the Canadian land taken also hurts Canada a lot because they get lots of resources from there too.

I think we should discuss Amerindia in the Amerindia application thread.

Just to clarify in this thread: Amerindia doesn't include the RL Vancouver. He used my northern border as his southern border, so Vancouver is still within Lower Columbia.

Amerindia discussions have been closed, since the applicant withdraw his application.

Oh Indian Ocean would be nice- we don't have many south-asian nations around.
