Plane Mysteriously Explodes

Plane Mysteriously Explodes.
George City, Aleksania
Yesterday, at 17:00 AST, a China Airlines 737-800 mysteriously caught fire and then soon after exploded. Thankfully, there was a flight delay do to weather, so the plane was empty at the time of the explosion. As of now, there have been 5 dead (all ground crew), and 20 in critical condition. The cause of the explosion is as yet unknown, although a gas leak is suspected. This is the first accident for the just completed General Douglas MacArthur International Airport, which serves the Utopiopolise and Keiv areas. Damage to the actual airport is minimal, consisting of just some carbon darkening to the blast area and near by terminal buildings. More news will be posted when available.

Illu'a can offer an investigation team if there could be a temporary lift on the trade embargo.

China Airlines had this happen 2 years ago. I think it was a bolt on a engine nacelle or flap that penetrated the fuel tank

Investigators from Starfishland and Illu'a have arrived in Aleksania; due to recent evidence, investigators have released news that they suspect that there may have a chance of terrorism.

Investigators have just announced that their is conclusive evidence to say without a doubt that this was a case of terrorism. The Aleksanian Department of Homeland security will announce likely suspects later this week.
