Immergrun holds talks with Corraile regarding merger

11.45 EDT - Immergrun President Michael Zwernmann has recently arrived in Corraile to discuss the possibility of political merger with Corraile. The plan, which will controversially entail the inclusion of Immergrun into Corraile, has sparked massive debate on both sides. The Freedomist party of Immergrun has publicly stated its disgust at the plan and has taken an unapproving stance towards the matter.

However, most people in Immergrun are somewhat ambivalent, and will continue to be so until the announcement of more details. Most do not see the rationale of a merger with Corraile, however, as the country's economy begins to rebound from the 2008-2009 economic downturn.
