Nogovicka - Ноговичка - Albion Slavic Republic
Nogovicka - First shown to AOIN Public this time. It was the oldest city of Albion Republic, founded by Kniaz Igor on river of Gnilka it was a fort until 12 century when trade on the river became the path from Pizen to Constantinople. The city grew to a rich trader town. In 1734 the reconstruction of the city begun and the city became the second capital for the Albion Kings. In times of the republic the city became the center of knowledge, science and culture. The city continued it peaceful life until the Soviet Invasion of Albion. The city was renamed to Zukovsk and the city was made the capital of the Soviet Republic of Albion. When the USSR and Soviet Albion forces wore almost beaten from the city the bombardment of the city begun destroying 78% of the city. The city was abandoned for 2 years as plans for reconstruction wore made. Now it is one of the symbols of Hiigaran Architecture and of Style. Look to the next update about Nogovicka in my City Journal Forum. What do you think about Nogovicka?

The Stench Of War
The memories of Elena Dmitrovna citizen of Nogovicka 1916-1979, part of the book "Fall of Nogovicka" - "On the next day we returned to Uncle Adam's apartment because it was impossible to continue to be in that crowd. There began to be air raids during the day, and the artillery fusillade continued at night. The whole operation was directed toward the center of town. The Soviets were systematically demolishing whole city blocks. After a few days we decided to return to the Krepostnaja section because it became evident that the outlying sections of town were less threatened. Telephones were still in service here so we called my cousin Jasi who invited us over to his house. We walked there over glass shards from broken windows which crunched under our feet like frozen snow. It was quite a distance and we were all exhausted especially my mother and my sister Olga. The heavy stench of burning irritated our eyes and choked us. Artillery shells flew over our heads and shrapnel exploded. We were carrying suitcases and what remained of our food. At the street corner next to a dead horse there was a group of people toiling with knives cutting out pieces of meat from the fallen body. Not too far away lay a horse skeleton, having been denuded from its skin and meat. A little white dog cuddled up inside the ribcage, against the horse's splayed entrails. It looked as if he were in a cage. There was a very sad look on his face. Throughout Satuday they took down the barricades. That was one of the conditions of the capitulation. That day we finally returned home. On Tornin street there stood two freight trains which were mobbed by people. They grabbed whatever they could but first of all the foodstuffs. I saw how one man was running with a sack on his back and another ran up to him, slit the sack with a knife, and held a bowl to catch the flowing sugar."
On 1949 Albion became Albionic Soviet Republic in capital of Nogovicka, the city was renamed Zukovsk in the name of the new Hiigaran Born Dictator. Pizen was saw as the capital of capitalism and was needed to be "socialized". The city started rebuilding in the new way, many communist symbols wore made. The Central temple of Sajuuk was planned to be destroyed on its place to be build the Palace of Culture. The city was harmed and many districts totally destroyed. The city continued to be the capital of Albion SR until 1951, when the Hiigaran States gathered military to liberate the invaded states of Albion, Murak and Titanovo. A heavy battle between the Hiigaran and Soviets begun. On 1951 September Zukov and pro-communist Hiigarans started evacuation from Nogovicka and started bombardment of districts taken by the Hiigaran Liberation Army and rebels. The Medieval District and the central districts wore destroyed leaving a field in central city. On October 4 1951 Nogovicka was liberated. Albion was liberated on December 15.
Nogovicka was rebuild to its glory and all of the lost districts as they wore before 1949. The city has the charm of the old Albion Cities, whit it monumental homes, clean streets and of the crammed shops. It is still one of the most unique cities in Hiigara and maybe in AOIN. If Pizen looks to the future, then Nogovicka still tries to keep it past that they almost lost.
Central District of Mestorechija. The central square of Dimitrus II and the Albion National Theater of Nagovicka, here you can look at the best plays, operas in the city. The Temple near of the square is Temple of Sajuuk build in 1623. The gates looking to the river is the "Lovers Gates" you need to past them 3 times and you will shortly find love. The river near the district is Gnilka, roughly translated as Rotten, because of it smell many years ago, now it is one of the cleanest rivers in Albion.
The central square of the city. It is the cultural hearth of the city. You can see the Theater and the palace of art. Build in 1832, this is one of the most expensive districts to live or dine.
Krepostnaja District, named this because here wore located defense of the city in 1400. The last of the walls wore taken down in 1825 to build a new district. In the left you can see the Arart Street, its a market street here you can find all that you want, and here also located typicle Hiigaran Cafes, Bars.
Parkovaja District located near a old park build in 1734 this is simple street. Here you can find the Library of Nogovicka and the Temple of Protector Goddess.
Tombovka District. Near the School you can see the monument to children killed at the time of the war, when a bomb landed on the playground, this is still a school, even if there are calls to make this a memorial.
Also here is located the Temple of Trade and the Palace of Mercenaries.
Edino Bridge, connecting the two parts of the city. And typicle Nogovickin Homes.
Sajuuk Protector of Nogovicka. This statue was erected in 1923 and destroyed in 1950, rebuild in 1967. This is the symbol of the city guarding the city from harm and war.
