GALBADIA AND ILLU'A TOGETHER ON 4.5+ GENERATION FIGHTER PROJECT

The Socialist Republic of Galbadia and the United Republic of Illu'a signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on this Febuary 5th to jointly develop a 4.5 generation fighter with a capacity greater than that of the GF-15.
The United Republic of Illu'a agreed to fund part of the development costs of the project about $ 6.1 billion during the next year, according to Galbadia Defence Materials Administration (GDMA). The Galbadian Government plans to raise funds for 80 percent of its share, from resources of other partners in the government or companies.
Ill'ua also agreed to buy about 40 aircraft S-FX when to start mass production.
The agreement follows a letter of intent for the S-FX sent in December 2010 by President Leandro Lima during a visit to Illu'a.
The Memorandum of Understanding "is a reflection of our commitment and the strong bilateral cooperation in the defense industry," said the Director of Defense Facilities of the Ministry of Defence of Illu'a during a speech before the signing ceremony with the GDMA commissioner, Charles Andersen,on the building of the Department of Defence of Galbadia.
"I am confident that through the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding on joint development of S-FX Advanced Fighter, the result of the cooperation will begin to be implemented at the earliest opportunity," said Charles. "The joint development, production and marketing will be completed using our maximum capacity for development."
Colonel Lee, director of staff development of GDMA S-FX, said his agency is negotiating with Syldavia and other countries about possible investment in SF-X program.
"There are two options on the table. One is to attract investments from other nations, "said Lee " The other is to receive investments from other aircraft manufacturers who wish to participate in the S-FX. "

Started in 2002, S-FX program was originally intended to produce and sell about 120 planes more stealthy than the Dassault Rafale and the Eurofighter Typhoon , but not as stealthy as the Lockheed F-35 Lightning II
The key requirements for the S-FX include AESA radar scanning electronics, an electronic warfare suite, a search system in the infrared range (IRST), interception capabilities "super-velocity" and "super-supercruise" strike capabilities beyond air-air, air-ground and air-sea.
The estimated costs of the project are about 13 to 15 billion U.S. dollars.

The Galbadian Petroleun giant ,Petrogal has announced that
plans for a vast natural gas terminal will be constructed in Calora,
and will produce up to 40% of Cattala's gas needs. The deal was
signed in Celeste this Sunday, by the Energy Minister for Cattala
and Petrogal's CEO. The Cattala's Government has backed the terminals
construction, despite opponents claiming that it could lead to a sharp
increase in shipping and pollution in the already-congested
Mediterranean, and will have very limited impacts on gas security.
Petrogal will build and operate the terminal on a 20-year lease, with
another 20 year extended deal to be signed in 2027. The Galbadian
Government also supported the deal, whilst the CNBMIOTA and the Alevian
Government have strongly opposed the terminal.

In a speech this morning the CEO of Petrogal says:
"We will not stop this project, it is very important for both countries, I have never heard of transporting and distributing natural gas pollute the sea"

F/A-27 STEALTH ?

It was decided that the People's Republic of New Oren will join as the newest republic in the federation of the Atlantic under the name Socialist Republic of New Oren and the two southern states of NO (Galbadia and Eastern High Atlantica) be taken back to Galbadia these two states belong to Orem republic before the revolution (the Republic of Orem became the Socialist Rep. of Galbadia after the Socialist revolution of 89), with this New Oren becomes the fifth republic of the Union of Verantlanteans States , adding 13 million inhabitants to AF and 9 million to Galbadia, now for the first time in history Galbadia and AF will share a land border.
