The University | Review

The University is where people are supposed to discover the information about the AIN, sign-up for it and learn the ways it works.
Stickied documents include the AIN World Map (last updated July 2010), the Members page and the School of AIN page.

Constitution

The Constitution forum currently contains the latest copy of the Constitution (sticky), an update thread, the original Ratification document and some draft discussions.

Admissions Desk

The main Admissions Desk forum contains two sub-forums - Declined Applications and Accepted Applications.
Stickied documents include an Application Template, member rules and guidelines for applications, an introduction thread and an Application Assistance & Improvement Thread.

Below are normal threads for ongoing applications.

Map of AIN

This contains two threads - the stickied Official AIN Map thread (last updated May 2010) and a V2 Map thread, last updated in August 2010.

AIN Wikipedia

This forum contains three sub-forums - Discussion, Templates and Tutorials and Archives.
There are two threads from 2009 in the main forum.
Under the "Discussion" sub-forum, there is 6 threads. Under Templates and Tutorials there is 6 threads as well, and there are four in the Archives.

Questions for you

~ Are you happy with the way the University currently works? Do you feel there are some forums that should be placed elsewhere, or some forums from elsewhere that should be added to it?

I think that AIN map is necessary and should be updated everytime some nations joins the union.

We aren't discussing the map itself - the actual forum.

1- I think the university is a great idea and place for newcomers and for just great information. I think that some of the topics need to updated and such, but other than that I think its great.

2- I like having the organized admissions desk, just to look back at past applications- Its a nice feature.

3- I cant think of any major threads that need deleted- just some house cleaning. Maybe some of the wiki threads- just to get everything up to date and simple.

4- I think that the map thread needs to be worked on. Updated more often, and Im not sure if having everyone post their own maps is the best way. I have just noticed that it gets a little cluttered.

5- Wiki thread is a great place. Once again, just some house cleaning and one common simple place for up to date templates etc.

All in all, not much needs to be worked on- you guys are doing awesome.

I am reasonably happy, it is located in a good place on the forums and is easy to find. I think AIN Wikipedia should be moved Member Services.

I think it is efficient and works extremely well. The Application Assistance & Improvement Thread should be removed, because it is not used.

No. The Map of AIN forum dissolved, with the threads merged into one "Map of AIN Archive" thread, so that we only have one, new thread for the AIN map. There are too many threads for the AIN Map.

I believe it should be moved to Member Services, because it isn't useful in the University. The two 2009 threads should be moved into the Archives.
