Day 1 - Arrival and Reception Tasman

The official parties of the Tasman Summit have today arrived in Lycanthia for the opening of the trilateral conference between Arcacia, Calaré and Lycanthia. It was mid afternoon when a chartered CalAir plane landed in Aéroport Lycanth carrying Mr Nathan Rush, TD, and other members of the Calaréann delegation. It was followed about an hour later by an Arcacian Airlines plane carrying Arcacian President Daniel Raffaele and his party, along with Dr William Rohana of Cattala and Mr Thomas Simpson, President of the Alliance of Independent Nations, both of whom are observing the summit and had flown into Providence the day before. The group of 24 delegates met each other for the first time at l'Arène Nationale in Châteauneuf, the venue for the summit, where they were greeted by Mo Marcel le Bon, President of Lycanthia and his party for a reception. The total number of delegates in attendance is 35. Official talks will begin tomorrow with border issues on the agenda.

The Calaréann delegation touched town at about a quarter to four in the afternoon after a one hour flight from Duvall.

The Arcacian delegation, along with observers from Cattala and the AIN arrived at about half past four after a short thirty minute flight from Providence.
