Lanaya to be gone, Syldavia to go on

As you may read on the title of this GA, Lanaya will be gone, but Syldavia will replace it.

Here are the reasons:

• I'm tired of Lanaya, the nation's location, I think it is unrealistic.
  
• I'm tired of having my country to be too similar to my RL location.
  
• There's a lack of Asian nations, so I moved there
  
• For Spy: I'm sorry, I know you were counting on me to role-play, but we can still do it: Neuwe Den Haag will remain as a Dependency of Syldavia, it has been bought by Syldavia from Netherlands.
  
• I wanted a socialist nation, not a occidental (since most of the AIN nations are occidental based) nation.
  
• I wanted to start something new, and keep my interest on SC4.

It already happens in AIN history that a member change his nation: Tyler with Lisieux, Pascale and Jumaane and back to Lisieux. It wasn't a big deal, it didn't messed the union...

Here are the questions and comments you may ask, I'll try to answer them:

• You are always changing location, that's really annoying, get a permanent location!
  - That's what I'm trying to do, I hope it's ok with the Union, I'll apply Syldavia for a Junior Membership later.
  
• Why socialist?
  - Why not?
  
• What will happen to Lanaya and all your work?
  - I'll keep them on my computer, but I won't use them. Lanaya will just be removed. :pale:
  
• You are crazy!
  - Maybe...

Syldavia was the name I used once in the SC2000, you also read Les Aventures de Tintin ?

It doesn't look THAT socialist even though I LOVE the idea somebody is doing one for a nation. Don't get me wrong, you have the CC for it, it's just that the way you used them. I suggest using more depressing buildings instead of Parsian buildings. Parisian buildings looks WAY TOO clean for a socialist nation.

If you wanted clean buildings, I suggest using highrises for your CBDs ONLY!!! Really, I don't think you should place them anywhere else.

Wrong. As I said on Galbadia's application, the concepts of socialism doesn't include any law saying that the "streets have to be depressing and dirty in every of our cities". That's an Americanized view of the thing. Its just that our vision of socialism was misleaded by the media and the government, thanks to USSR. Socialist cities can be developed and clean, in fact, in the essence, they are supposed to be even cleaner and organized than the capitalist ones...its just that you probably didn't travel to a Third World country...

Neuwe Den Haag, a little island near Bermuda, it's a dependency of Syldavia (Syldavia bought the territory from Netherlands in 1946). It's a common island shared by the AF and Syldavia.

I will now add Syldavia to the members page. Two questions:

Should I remove Lanaya now, or later?

Would to like to add Neuwe Den Haag as a member-by-proxy? (If so, it will have to go through the membership approval process.)
