Welcome to beautiful Kalama, the largest city in Duwamish! Still growing with over 3 million people, Kalama is a center of commerce, trade, arts, sports and politics. This January, we hope to dazzle the world as New Chandler did before us in announcing the host of the third Winter Simlympic Games.

Kalama Convention Center: ISC Voting venue

Lodging and Dining
Premier Kalama Suites: All voting ISC members stay at this 5-star resort hotel, with a 5-star restaurant and amenities such as a swimming pool, exercise room and indoor sauna.
Hotel District: All tourists can stay at these fine hotels, between Kalama Arena and Kalama Stadium.
Transport
Kalama Transit: Bus service from all places mentioned in this bid.
Kalama Central Station: This station serves as a stop along the Pacific Express from Illu'a to Lower Columbia as well as GreenRail lines that connect to Dawson, Tulalip Airport, Montero, Goodwin and other destinations.
Tulalip International Airport (DTI): The premier airport in Duwamish, serving Escambian Airlines, Fly Illu'a-Air Duwamish as well as the official ISC jets. Access to Kalama via train and highway nearby.
Attractions
Kalama Stadium District: Several stadiums for multiple sports teams conveniently within walking distance of each other.
Kalama Stadium (cap. 80,000): Home of the Kalama Kangaroos FC (DSL), this stadium has the second best fans and atmosphere in Duwamish, after the Dawson Bowl.
Koalas Stadium (cap. 25,000): Home of the University of Kalama Koalas and Kalama Koalas AC, this stadium can cure your college athletics hunger.
Emeralds Park (cap. 36,000): Future home of an SLB AAA team, the Kalama Emeralds, this stadium is currently used for local and university games.
University Arena (cap. 30,000): Kalama Koalas basketball is hosted here as they face other schools from around the country.
Kalama Tennis Complex: Located in beautiful Easton, the tennis complex is home to several stadiums featuring Duwamish's tennis stars.
University of Kalama campus: The University of Kalama, founded in 1908, is the second oldest university in Duwamish (after Dawson) and its campus serves as a peaceful park for citizens and tourists alike.
Kalama City Hall: The current center of government in Kalama, the city hall lit the August 2010 Simlympic torch and has a museum of the political history of Kalama.
Old Kalama City Hall: Formerly the Kalama city government's home as well as a territorial capitol, the building was built in 1895 and still flies the red, white and blue today as a reminder of our heritage.
Kalama Mall: The premier shopping destination in Kalama, this underground mall utilizes an underground canal that uses locks to connect boaters to the ocean or Duwamish River.
