~ What industries is your country hoping to attract over the next ten years?
Both Arcacia and Lycanthia are hoping to expand the tourism sector, as well as expanding the science and technology sector.
~ How do you hope to attract business to your country?
By promotion of Arcacia on the world stage through major international events. Arcacia is determined to host a Simlympic Games, which will no doubt see a peak in interest. Riding on the back of this, Arcacia will promote itself as a business friendly country, as well as a great place to live.
~ What is the future of the public sector within your country? Will it expand, shrink, etc?
The public sector will expand as per need, but there are no immediate plans to expand it. More emphasis is placed on private enterprise, though public assets will not be sold off to this end.
~ What steps is your country taking to expand the economy? (tax cuts, lower interest rates)
Arcacia has recently passed tax and currency reforms which it is hoped will see an increase in economic activity. This has been done to pave the way for the developments listed above.

What industries is your country hoping to attract over the next ten years?
Renewable energy is a relatively new industry in Killorglin that is expanding rapidly with the closure of public-owned fossil fueled power stations. Software development is also a grossly expanding sector with mnay new jobs being created on a monthly basis for programmers and such. Killorglin is also hoping to attract shipbuilding companies as part of the Bunratty Docks and Docklands Redevelopment Plan which is due for completion in 2013.
How do you hope to attract business to your country?
The government has a very low rate of corporation tax and has committed to keeping this tax low for the next few years at least. Investment has also been announced for an extensive advertising campaign to attraction tourism - and envitably investment from abroad. Tourism already accounts for 21% of our economy.
What is the future of the public sector within your country? Will it expand, shrink, etc?
The public sector is extremely small in Killorglin and will be seen to grow over the next few years as population increases and more investment is brought into the country.
