New National Anthem

In a landmark moment for Lycanthia, the country has adopted its own national anthem. A referendum to change the anthem passed by a vote of 95% in favour, 3% against and 2% abstain/informal. Lycanthia had used the French national anthem, Le Marseillaise, since Lycanthia's foundation, despite independence from France occurring in 1929.

The new anthem, Levez, Lycanth, Levez! (Rise, Lycanthia, Rise!) has been used during Lycanthia's campaign at the Alliance Games in Centreburg and today has officially been adopted as the country's national anthem after the President, Marcel le Bon, signed off on the proclamation, enabling the constitutional amendment.
