Wind Cowling



This unique product, that is featured in many new development projects across North-West Europe and in Cattala, allows for natural ventilation to reduce the need for air conditioning and increase the flow of natural air into a property. Wind Cowlings are useful products in any development and can reduce the cost of electricity (which would otherwise be used for air con and ventilation) dramatically.

Hybrolighting



Hybrolighting is an environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional street lighting, and has been proven to save 170kg of Co2 emissions per light, each year. Each light has a battery that stores the produced electricity underground, and can power the light for six straight days. Each battery has a life of around ten years, and return the investment in just over 2 years.

Carbon Capture and Storage



Carbon Capture and Storage technology is key to improving the environmental credentials of fossil fuels, such as coal and natural gas. Currently CCS is still a new technology, but thanks to the Cattalian Governments funding pledge, Energie Verdi can now offer CCS technology to international companies and countries. Energie Verdi currently operates one CCS-supported natural gas station in Cattala and two CCS-supported natural gas plants in Russia, with two more coming online in 2011 in Canada.

Amphibious Wave Power Tubes



The Energie Verdi AWPTs, or wave energy stations, are amongst the first commercial wave farm products that are available for purchase. In co-operation with Pelamis Wave Power, we have developed these AWPTs that can produce up to 21 megawatts of energy in each farm, enough to power around 15,000 households. They are currently in operation off Portugal and Cattala, and have been successful in producing more reliable energy than offshore wind farms.
