Re: Day Two
Note that two lanes means 1 lane in each direction.
1- Are your roads divided into Classes? as in are they assigned different specific markers on Maps?
Roads are designated into _ major classes:
- Expressway(E-___) - completely grade separated, follows Illu'an Freeway Standards, no tolls except at bridges/tunnels.
- Standard Route(R-___) - A main road that is paved, has adequate signage, has at least two lanes, has a minimum speed of 50kph/30mph, and is designated by the Illu'an Department of Transportation as a route. Some Standard Routes are built up to Expressway standards.
- Toll Road(T-___) - Any road that require a fee to use throughout most or all of its length.
- Normal Road(no designation) - The same as a Standard Route, but isn't marked as one.
- Local Road(no designation) - A paved road that is at least two lanes wide.
- Unmarked Road(no designation) - All other roads.
2- What is the Total number of KM/ML in your country for:
High Ways/ Free Ways - 907 km freeways, 1,563 km highways
Toll ways - 154 km
Major Arterial Roads - A lot.
Local Roads - A lot.
Non-surfaced roads - A lot.
3- What is the Prescribed BAC (Blood alcohol content) allowed in your country?
.08% or higher
4- Is there different BAC allowed for truck drivers, Bus drivers, Taxi Drivers, Learner Drivers?
.02% for people under 21
Special BACs for bus+taxi drivers depends on the bus/taxi company, although the federal limit is .06%.
5- Does your nation operate Toll ways/roads- either as government only or Public private partnerships?
Illu'a operates three tollways. The Western Colbitz Bypass(T-1) starts from the E10 south of Colbitz, to the west of Downtown Colbitz, back to the E10 north of Colbitz. The Daloa Turnpike(T-2) starts at the end of the Western Colbitz Bypass and goes east to the edge of Downtown Daloa. The Neil Repart Expressway(T-3) runs from the E-45, goes northward to meet the E-70, turns west, then ends abruptly.
All three toll toads are public-private partnerships.
