History:

1913: Matinenda made a peace treaty with Germany, France, UK, Russia, Hungarian Empire, and Italy after noticing conflict in Europe. It was set to last for 35 years.

1942: Germany takes over Matinenda in hard fought battle, and the the expiration of the Treaty left them vulnerable for attack. (Lasted Until 1938 and Matinenda didn't think a new one would be needed.)

1944: Matinenda fights off Nazi's with fellow Allies Assistance.

1945: Shortly after WWII, the Patriots Act was created. It was made to let the public vote on a decision along with government officials so if a order was made but not liked by public it could be vetoed.

1986: New flag is made from the Patriots Act.

2010: Becomes AIN Observer.

Late 2010 early 2011: Wishes to get promotion.

That was my old city. I will put the fenced areas in new Matinenda but it will be more fitting. Also I just noticed that one picture is terribly blurred and I will post a new one if wanted.

EDIT: Also I can't seem to get rid of the Central Europe buildings, I deleted them from the my Documents folder but they still grow. I will check if I have it in the Program Files Area. Right now I am on my new HP laptop, that I will be copying the files to the laptop (I will be carrying the data on a disk and use them on both computers, in case the laptop crashes so I don't lose all my precious work I don't quite trust this laptop...)

I suggest making a new plugins folder if you're going to have a muti-city nation. I made something that'll help you out.

Overall, I think you've improved a good deal; Matinenda looks much more Mediterranean now. Your GDP per capita, however, is waaaaay too high. For comparison, the USA's GDP per capita is around $46,000, and most nations have even lower GDPpc's. The only nation to have one that's over $100,000 (according to the CIA World Factbook) is Qatar, which has a small population and lots of oil. A GDPpc of $40,000 or less would be more realistic, especially for a socialist state.

Your flag looks cool, though. Where'd you get the wavy effects?

I'm a little surprised to see this application so early - you've only been an observer for a couple of weeks, and sure you've made some major changes but this just seems like a rushed application simply to get in. There's nothing wrong with being an observer until you have some more updates ready.

I think I would have to agree with Thomas, even though you have progressed a lot with your application, I feel that with a bit more time and a bit more learning and experience you will have a really good application. I think for your capital though, I seem to remember reading that you wanted it to be all modern. I believe that would look unrealistic for your location as it would be more a mix of new and old but more likely old. I agree with Zach that your GDP is too high to be realistic. 40k is a good starting point but if your country is a socialist republic then it would probably be a fair bit under that due to the deficiencies of how the socialist system runs an economy.

I don't want to brow beat you Chucky but i believe that you should take this good start to your application and develop it a bit more and come back to the process with a more developed application say around the 25th / 26th of January that way you have more time to do it and not rush or feel pressured.

Hope this isn't to harsh, I know your desperate to become an associate memberstate but some of the skills for a good application come with time.

I just feel like I'm ready is all. It's taken a lot of time and frustration to get my cities started. I've seen no complaints except GDP, which I actually had no idea about at all at first. And the capital, which made me reconsider what I'll do with it yet. I also hate the limitations of being an observer.
