Kota Baru 12/9 - Although it never been a big news these days, Lately a man that claimed from Ministries of Energy and Environmental (MEE) reporting a lot of corruption in several ministries in Karasem.

This man who the name wanted to be secret said that he already know several name from MEE, MT (Minister of Transportation) and MCA that took the money from the Ciwale Natural Gas Power Plant Projects in September 2010 that took Rk 89 Billions from National funds.

The project itself was to built a natural gas power plant in Ciwale, Ketapang to fullfill the citizens needs. This project involved MEE, MTA, MCA, PT. Natura Gas Karasem tbk. and PT Konstruksi Abadi tbk to finish it.

"We better to investigate this first then seach the suspects" says Moh. Nasi U., Head of Ministries of Energy and Eviromental's Public Relations this afternoon in MCC office. He also said that MCC will coordinate with the involved companies in this suspected case. "The citizens should not judge themself about this case. it's better to let us find first". Says Nasi.

Kota Baru 14/9 - After been investigated, the corruption in the Ciwale Natural Gas Power Plant Projects now CCK (Commission Corruption Karasem) have some datas for this case. It's been known that MCA in Karasem got some 'forbidden money' from this projects.

"We've found some evidence to this case from the field. "Leader of this case investigator, Moh. Iskandar, said to the pers today. "The evidence said that fund for 12 operational vehicles obscured."

Iskandar also said that the submitting proposals of the procurement of these goods are from MCA staff. "We have set up 8 people as suspects of this case, 6 of them are from MCA of Karasem". He said again.

Until now the investigation still going on.

Ketapang & Melaka 15/9 - Until today, some area in Karasem still shrouded in a thin to thick haze. This condition has occurred over the past week following the rise of forest and peatland fires.

As in the Rengas hilir, Ketapang, a pretty thick smoke haze covered skies of the city The acrid smell of burning ash had smelled. In the morning, his condition worse. Haze looks more dense because it is tied in the morning dew.

The fires originated mostly from peatland at Ketapang province, Northern Melaka, and Southern Melaka. Most are set by swidden agriculturists employed by agroforestry concerns to clear land in order to grow pulp woods or market crops ahead of the growing season. The latest Satellite images taken over Ketapang on yesterday (14/9) showed 674 "hot spots" indicating areas where fires had been set.

The fires have closed schools, delayed and cancelled airline flights, disrupted shipping and forced the peoples to using mask. Cities affected include Ketapang, Deltamas, Cijeruk, Melaka, Paku, Kota Merah and more in N. Melaka province.

In Ketapang International Airport, visibility was reported at around 300 metres. 3 flights today was cancelled due to smog at many destinations. While in Melaka Airport, visibility was worser that only 265 metres. all flight from and to Melaka was cancelled.

Air pollution index in several cities was dropping significantly. In Ketapang: 210, Deltamas: 231, Cijeruk: 160, Saladua: 158, Cibebek: 95, Meriah: 79, Melaka: 274, Paku: 280, Kota Merah: 216, Newport: 187, Kurangan: 169.

It's also reported from neighboring AIN countries like Okatabawashi, and Bangorai' also affected because of the wind

To overcome the rise of smoke haze, today, spreading salt activities planned for artificial rain in some areas in Ketapang province and Northern Melaka Province.

CCK Browse Suspected Funds Flow to MCA

Kota Baru 15/9 - As the CCK still trace the suspected funds flow to several names from MCA, today, R. Salah, one of the suspect come to CCK office. Salah was a staff from Minister of Energy and Environmental.

"In the interrogation in CCK there is talk about a commission of 10 percent of the cost of the project", Sjafri S., Korup's lawyer said today. "There is a commitment commission agreement between Salah with Shegar, other suspect. the division of the commission related to the fall of funds regulations related to the finance section of minister of transportation. The agreement states that a commission of 10 percent must be paid at the beginning by 5 percent. The rest, paid after the regulation down."

The 10% of the projects funds currently unknown since the budgeted items was not found in the field.

Earlier, the lawyer of Shegar , Syaiful P revealed 10 percent of requested fund from Minister of Transportation also flow to MEE. Regarding the allocation of funds to the ministry of energy and environmental, Syaiful can not yet divulge who the name of the person in the minister that the money flows to.

Karasem Athletes Depart From Al Garibat To Jakarta


Al Garibat, Hiigara 4/11 - The whole 870 Karasem Athletes now departed from Al Garibat to Jakarta. Their plane was departed at 2pm local time and would arrived in Jakarta at 10pm local time. There are 2 A-380 from Air Karasem to pick them out.

They heading to Jakarta for atteding SEA Games XXVI that held in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia. Previously, they attend AIN Summer Game 4 in Al Garibat, Hiigara. Karasem only get 13th position with 7 old, 5 silver and 8 bronze.

The ministry of Youth and Sport, Faisal Surya optimist they would atleast end up in top 5 position. He said that the athletes should be better with recent AIN games that competiting with worldwide nations.

He also said that the athletes that get gold would receive Rk 30,000,000 and Rk 15,000,000 for silver. These would motivates athletes for getting bette performances.

Decreased Performance Athletes Need to be Selected Again

Kota Baru 24/11 - The Athletes from Karasem have a decreased performance in last 2 games, AIN Summer Games IV and SEA Games XXVI. Their performance are pretty decreased than their performance in previous sport events.

Minister of Youth and Sport, Faisal Surya said that for next upcoming game, the athletes need to be selected that they have a previous good achievement to avoid the same problem to be repeated. He also said that Karasem athletes should be prepared as in 2012, Karasem will try to bid AIN Games in Jatibening Sport Center, Meriah, Cikulon Province.

The Karasem athletes receive 13th position in AIN Games IV with 7 gold, 5 silver and 8 bronze while they get 7th position in SEA Games XXVI with 32 gold, 72 silver and 41 bronze.


Pondok Daun 26/11 - Again, another road failure in Karasem. A busy Highway that connect Cibebek with Pondok Daun collapse into a cliff 16.32 local time. The fallen road located in Km 36.87 from Cikaas.

Witnesses said that the road were busy when this happened. Tarjo P., a witness said "the road suddenly cracked and began to collapsed when 2 trucks passed by." Tarjo was driving a car from Cisarua and heading to Cidaun.

The local police identified that the vehicles is 1 van,1 sedan and 2 small truck. they're fall into cliff and make 3 injured.

This accident happened again after the same thing happened in January 2007 when in the peak of rain season.
