You thought wrong. Sometimes RW interactions are unavoidable. Especially when a volcano erupts and grounds air traffic leaving me stranded and having this conversation instead of being on my way to Queensland.

Yeah, pretty much. It happened last week as well. This time, though, it shut down Sydney and Melbourne.

I'm all sorted, Virgin Australia has put me on tomorrow's flight, so I'm only delayed 1 day. There are people who will be sleeping in airports for days yet. Response to passengers seems to depend on whatever airline they're with. Virgin Australia and Qantas seem to be handling it all in their stride, JetStar passengers not happy. Could mean the end of Tiger.

The train is booked solid and coach companies are jacking up prices. Flights are resuming today, though New Zealand is about to have a headache.
