"Hiigaran Countries are worried about this trial, knowing the past history of the dictatorship that is still in the country under Emperor Daniel IV."

Re: Grand & Belluterra vs. David Zhou
Off topic: If you call him just Emperor, call him Emperor Daniel I. He's King Daniel IV of Grand, and Emperor Daniel I of Belluterra=King-Emperor Daniel IV & I Here's something that can clarify what a King-Emperor is: clicky

Re: Grand & Belluterra vs. David Zhou
This seems more of the sort of trial that would best be held in Grand & Belluterra itself. I think it would be unwise to try Mr. Zhou in an international court, as different nations define treason differently and the AIN doesn't have its own definition.

Ok, I'm taking treason off the list, but what about the 3 murders and attempted assasination that resulted in hospitalization of two members of the Royal Family?

Those are fair game, I'd say.

Ok, so should I post the facts now? Or should I wait until the trial begins?

Re: Grand & Belluterra vs. David Zhou
Wait until the Chief Justice (Julien) begins the court session.
Last month work began on the phasing out of the AIN Court, to be replaced by a UN-style system, but since that seems to have stalled, I guess we can continue using it for this court case.

Seriously? No one's interested in this? I mean, our Emperor is dying out there, and his successor is also gravely wounded, (not to mention the 3 deaths and 5 other injuries), and no one's interested?

Some people probably think that this case is more fitting in a court within your country and not necessarily the AIN High Court.emperordaniel wrote:Seriously? No one's interested in this? Re: Grand & Belluterra vs. David Zhou
sorry for the late. It's playoffs, be indulgent
I personally agree with K50 and Zack.
I can still judge if the Republican Kingdom of Grand and Belluterra wants the court case to be in charge by the AIN.
BTW, I think that we should accept only court cases that involved more than 1 nations in the alliance.
After your answer to the question if you want to continue, that the jury is choosen and the defence also, the court case will start.

Ok, I'll remember that for the future, but this time, partly because two out of seven of the justices on the Supreme High Court of Grand and Belluterra were ethier killed or wounded, and also partially because two members of the Regency Council were also incapacitated, the remaining members of the RC wish for the AIN Court to judge, for fear that it mught be an unfair trial if held in Grand, as as the Hiigaran Countries expressed.

Surely this would be better off held in the USNW court, since you're going to become a member there?
