The “World Music” is the main component of the Mediterranean Music Festival. Each time more en vogue, this new trend of music englobe some types of noises, comings of the most distant corners of the world and encloses the considered styles as folk or ethnic, on to the essence of the peoples and they identify that them. Musics from eastern, Arab, African, Latin American or of the Balkans are the main sources of the “World Music”. But in this context known styles still fit more, with clear influences of the different ancestral cultures, as it is the case of reggae, blues, soul or samba. The musical poster of the first edition of the Mediterranean Music Festival counts more than on 50 bands, between secondary head-of-poster and artists, who will go to play in five stages.

Gastronomy

The mediterranics flavors are one of the atractions of this event that, throughout four days, goes to full the Historical and Downtown Zone of Bruxelas with much animation, color and an only environment where some cultures of the Mediterranean and the world if establish in one alone reality. It stops beyond the Farviuenses traditional kitchen, the Mediterranean Festival goes to also have a set of dedicated spaces of restoration to the traditional flavors of countries as Portugal, Cattala, Hiigara, Spain, Greece, Morocco, Egipto or Italy. The Chef Chakall comes back to have a proper space in the festival, toward the visitors had appreciated some of plates elaborated “to the living creature and the colors”, where the ingredients that are part of the mediterranic diet will be in prominence.
