SimSports Football and You!

As most of you know, Nate is gone from SimSports, taking the AIFF and SFL with him. Now thanks to the Inbred Iowan, we (the SimCity Community at large) do not have a universal Football (soccer) league that everyone can enjoy and participate in.

In the benefit of said community, I am planning on fronting a new Football league for SimSports. I want to create a fun, unbiased, fair atmosphere for players to participate in. However, this is a daunting task, and should not be left up to one person (nor can it) to do.

Therefore, I am assembling a team of the willing. So, I'm calling on AIN members to help me out! If you can apply for the following positions, and have credentials, I welcome you to do so*:

Game Simulator- The brunt of the work. Without a Simmer, the League cannot have a fair and accurate outcome. I would be looking for someone who has FIFA 11, is planning on purchasing FIFA 12, and would be available to sim games when asked. (schedule can be made on later date)
Match Designer- Photoshopping and match pictures. The Match Designer basically makes the forum side of the league look nice. (This will only be needed until I get CS5, although I would most likely use help afterwards as well)
League Organizer- While I can Ladder my way through a Cup or group play system, running a league may need extra TLC. Depending on the Simulator's wishes, leagues may or may not be set up on the actual program (FIFA) as a tournament or separately as "pen & paper."

My job would be presenting games on SS, receiving and organizing teams alongside the League Organizer, and running the league. (making sure everything runs smoothly)

As of now, this is mostly an idea. I will draw up a logo, mission, and general league structure soon, but I do need a team to make this vision work!

The Ministress supports your endeavor! However, I was under the impression that SFL was American Football... discuss..

JJ, it is but he took em' both so it seems like its always said together, never took AIFF, never took SFL, but "AIFF and SFL."

As for this SSF and You, strange name for a league for one jk. I'm still sticking with AIFF but I do wish you luck with your endeavor and will be keeping my eye on it... in a good way

Okay need to clear things up:

SimSports Football and You! is not the league name it's just a recruitment drive thread name.

also, AIFF and SFL are both "Nate's Leagues," and he's making them private. I am only interested in Soccer, not American Football.

Geoff I'd be happy to help in anyway I can. I was thinking about this the other day actually. I'd really like to help out with a non biased soccer league and soccer world cup.

This sounds very promising! I haven't had the opportunity to compete in a soccer league ever since the AIFF saga.

AIFF is only Adonia now. I guess you're not in Adonia?

I had no idea, but Linktoria (and Cincinnati) is American.

Okay here's the bottom line:

AIFF and SFL are gone to the general public.

I am creating a new league for EVERYONE.

I am accepting applications for staff members.

Once more details are available, I will post them.

Wacky Linktoria and Cincy are still in AIFF unless you take them out. Anyone is still welcome to join/be in AIFF, it was just removed from Simsports.

Let's have a space ship that brings all the teams from Adonia to Earth! Yeah... -.-' Very realistic By the way, isn't it renamed Adonia International Football Federation??? I don't think it's intergalactical... with that name.

Please discuss the AIFF on another forum. It's nothing to do with the AIN (or SimSports for that matter) anymore and therefore shouldn't be discussed here.
