Early Illu'an History aka previews of the next U-Build-It update!


The colonization of Illu'a and the entire Pacific Northwest started with a group of refugees coming from Europe due to the counter-reformation. Settlers on the Illu'an island separately formed two different nations - the Kingdom of Reizga and the Monarchy of Central Illu'a (Monarchie de Illu'a centrale if Google Translate is correct.)


The story of how both nations combined into the United Republic of Illu'a began at the historic Sacré Hill Estate. Conflicting border lines between Reizga and Central Illu'a have been a problem for the newly fledged nations. But when Prince Vernon of Lamballe (Central Illu'a) started to build a personal estate on the hill, Reizgaites declared that Central Illu'ans need to leave their side of the border.


The resulting war ensued for 2 years, until both countries were running low on men and resources. Realizing the grim economic future of both countries, the idea of uniting Reizga and Central Illu'a into one country arose. An island-wide election on unification was passed on November 19, 1781. Over the next few years, a new system of government based on democracy and freedom was worked out by leaders from both former nations.


In 1795, new government buildings finished construction. To this day, almost all federal operations of Illu'a happens at Federal Boulevard.
