Giant Bay TV Journal23811

Giant Bay Stock Exchange opens his doors Monday!
That’s official, but predictable since few days, the fusion of 5 minors’ stock exchange in Giant Bay was creating the “National Stock Exchange of Giant Bay” (NSEGB). He opens his doors Monday and he will surely be the second biggest stock exchange of Africa after South Africa Stock Exchange! Our NSEGB is probably a new economic force for our country and for our glorious nation!

FCW starts on the top speed!
With 6 points, 6 goals for and 0 against, the “Football Club West”, the first team of Sir-Charles-West District, begins like a champs! At the same time, “Saint-Jean Nord Football” wins his second match too, against “Giant Bay Agglomération Rural Foot” by 3-1 in the score. In the ranking, FCW is first, SJNF in second and in third, “Black-City-Soccer” who creates the surprise with 4 points and a victory (3-2) against “Sud-Saint-Jean-Sport”, favorite during this match… So, who will win the “Shark’s Victory” this year? Maybe FCW again!

Flash of October 11th, 2011

The cremated Duke, and a future in movement!

Today, the Duke was cremated in Giant Bay. This intimate ceremony is unwound with only his family and some former of his co-workers of the ancient's Popular Party.

Today, some political parties have published a beginning of them vision of “Second Republic”, where the “Constitutional Assembly” will be elected in 30th October, 2011 (Source: Ministry of Home Affairs). The three nationalist parties (French, English and Quenya Nationalism) have trained today an alliance, “Alliance of Federalism”, for presented them vision of a “Federal Republic”. The Socialist Party wants a “United Republic” with a proportional system for future elections. For the major party, Conservative Party, choice for a similar institution with actual institution, and with a replacement of “Duke” by “President”, is them choice for future.

Calendar:
October 30th, 2011: Constituent Assembly Election
End 2011 or Early 2012: Referendum for validation of new Constitution

Reports Special Election

Conservative Party can he loses this election?

According to surveys, it is probable that the “Conservative Party” finishes in mind in this election. However, the stakes are quite different. Indeed, the Liberals (“Party of the United Right”) want to join forces with Socialist (“Socialist Party”) for write the next Constitution, and the economic points. If Liberals want a free economy with privatization of national companies, socialists want the ending of monopoly in key sectors but keep national companies. Only the Conservative Party wants keep national companies and the monopolies in concerned sectors.

For institution, it’s probable for the future that the system is a semi-presidential system. Indeed, Conservative and Socialist want to keep actual system, with a proportional election. That’s beneficial to them! Only liberals want a Presidential system with electoral-district vote.

To finish, the other parties with “Alliance National of Federalism” or ecologic party. It’s a possibility to see nationalist in this future assembly. Indeed, this election is the first with a semi proportional-electoral district. On 75 seats, the repartition will be proportional with demography between 3 linguistic areas. And in Quenya Area, nationalists have between 12 to 15% in surveys! (8.5% in one area has necessary for have seats in future assembly).

So, what’s the composition of future Constituent Assembly? Response the October 30th, 2011!

GIANT BAY TV

Confrontation in Constituent Assembly

Since his election, in last October, the Constituent Assembly hasn’t the power to elect a new Government. However, this new legislature is controlled by the political opposition… Yesterday, the leader of opposition, the President of the Parliament, Edouard Colle (Socialist Party), asked the destitution of Prime Minister David Kasaoui (Conservative Party). But David Kasaoui has responded this morning: “It’s not the responsibility to the Constituent Assembly to elect a new Prime Minister. This is the responsibility of the People, by a general election. After the proclamation of new constitution, we will have an election to that. But for now, I stay in my job”.

Currently, debates are hard in Assembly to establish the new constitution. According to a Member of Parliament, the new constitution will be submitted to a referendum in February 2012 in the best situation. The Socialist Party demands today a vote of Parliament to design a new Government to now from the next election.

BREAKING NEWS
GIANT BAY TV

Censure motion approved by the Constituent Assembly!

In the early afternoon, the Assembly Constituent has approved the censure motion against the Prime Minister David Kasaoui, of the Conservative Party, by 37 voice “for”, 35 “against” and 3 “white”. This is a severe blow for the Government, because it became an interim government now. Tonight, or tomorrow in morning, the Socialist Party announced it was forming a new government in coalition with Democrats Party and Party of the Sustainable Future and Ecology, to form a new government of center-left political.

Finally, yesterday, the Prime Minister had accepted to leave his post if the Assembly Constituent votes the censure motion. Now, it’s done. The transition will probably take place this weekend between the actual Conservative government, and the new government democrats-socialists.

The new Prime Minister is, following the rumors, Stuart Smith, the leader of Socialist Party and losing candidate against David Kasaoui last December with 49.80% of voices in Second Round.

Assembly Constituent disagrees to the composition of new government!

This is a new rebound in our political crisis! 24 hours after the vote of censure motion, the proposition of the new government, compose by socialist, democrats and greens, was refused by the Constituent Assembly with 38 “against”, 37 “for” and no vote “white”. The reason is the vote “against” of a deputy of Democrats Party, disagrees with his party and his coalition with the Socialist Party. Now, the Conservative Party wants propose its government. But to that, it has the obligation to create a coalition with the Party of United Right and the National Alliance of Federalism (far-right) for hope to see the Constituent Assembly approves its proposition. The problem, the P.U.R. disagrees the proposal of alliance with the far-right… Tomorrow, the Socialist Party has announced present a new proposition. In the meantime, leaders of Democrats Party want to talk with them deputy about the future coalition and a real unity to the vote of tomorrow!

At the same time, the Constituent Assembly has published today its proposition to a new flag and a new national emblem for the people of Giant Bay.

A new Government to the country!

It’s done! After the vote of last Monday (December 19th), the new government took office this morning! At now, the new Prime Minister is the Socialist “Stuart Smith”. He’s the Chief of State and the Government by interim. His principal objective is the end of redaction of the new constitution, for January according to his party.

In this Government, they are 12 ministers. One is an ecologic, 4 are members of Democrats Party and 7 are members of Socialist Party. This new Government was approved by the Constituent Assembly with 38 “for” and 37 “against”, a sign of a great division in the A.C. …
